There are things in this world that we accept as reality and yet we are blinded to the truth. This video is a must see for all people. It will explain things that sometimes seem mysterious, and it will offer an understanding of what is really at stake.
Once it becomes apparent that we are being fooled and manipulated, we then can choose a different path to follow. Time is running out, the sovereignty of the nation is at stake, so is the freedom of the world.
Restore America to the Constitutional federal republic representing the will of We the People!

Trillion Dollar Tax Cut
Once again the American taxpayer is given the bill, even though they did not enjoy the cuisine. Outgoing Democrats, accusing the Republican Party of "holding hostages" have done a clear case of oneupmanship, by adding about one trillion dollars in earmarks to the Bush-era tax cut extensions, which they are going to limit to two years.
Even with a billion in additions that GOP leaders fought for the extension of unemployment benefits for 13 months, is a drop in the bucket compared to the added earmarks the lame duck House is pushing through. Never in the history of America (or any nation) has tax relief costs so much!
Tea Party Movement voters sent a message to Washington but they are not really listening to us. We only allowed the "other" party control because they did promise to head our wishes to cut spending, reduce government, stabilize the economy. They have welshed on all promises thus far.
To those GOP voters who argued that voting for an Independent or Libertarian party candidate would just be taking away from the GOP, I will tell you this: In 2012 I will vote for all candidates that are NOT members of the "D's" or "R's" because neither has demonstrated the will to follow the lead of the voters. I will be "interviewing" candidates for all offices from now until I receive my 2012 ballot, and I can tell you that it will be new faces that I seek, with a proven track record for integrity and service to the people. Political experience is not even a primary consideration, in fact, it may be a disqualification as most "career politicians" are detrimental the freedoms of the States and the People.
I am officially announcing my revolt against the Unconstitutional usurpations by our federal government and will do whatever it takes to restore this nation to the Republic founded by those that fought the British Empire to gain the very freedoms the present government seeks to destroy.

Talk Show in the Works!
I have been blogging for quite some time now and have been researching the possibility of turning this into a live talk show online. I have installed the necessary software and now, after consulting with a sound engineer, I am looking at the expense of purchasing the necessary hardware to make a show happen.
No talk show is worth the time without listener feedback. In order to take listeners calls, I must install the proper hardware interfaces that can take a telephone call and place it online without a reduction in sound quality. So I must obtain the necessary funding from sponsorship.
That is why I have installed a Donate/Sponsor link on my page here. It will take you to PayPal where you can make a donation to the site. All donations will be used to pay for the equipment and upkeep of the site. It is my intention to provide a professional talk show that will attract the sponsorship of advertisers and possible broadcast radio syndication. With your support, I am sure we can make this a reality.
Thank you my loyal followers and newcomers alike. Please tell your friends and family about this blog and the soon to come talk show. I look forward to providing you all with the kind of information and discussions that are on the front burners of most Americans, and providing dialogue that is constructive to restoring this great nation to economic stability and growth, while protecting the liberties of American citizens.

They're NOT Listening
You would think that after the results of the last election, the politicians in Washington would heed the will of the people, but alas they have not. Standing on a defiant podium, Harry Reid waved a memo from the GOP and claimed that HE was going to do what the American people want. Well he needs to step down because he is way out of touch with the people.
While taxes and health care dominate the focus, we are bombarded in the media with WikiLeaks, terrorists, and foreign policy. We need to focus on what needs to be done at home.
First and foremost the tax deductions need to be made permanent. That will do more to get small businesses hiring and investing in manufacturing again. Second, cut the spending across the board, starting with entitlement programs to the career welfare recipients. And third, we need to reform the monetary system by repealing the Federal Reserve Act and getting Congress to take responsibility for monetary policy that is asset based instead of debit based. That will do more to fix the economy than anything.
I hear both parties talking about the Tea Party Movement as if it was a third political party. Obviously that is not true and they need to stop this nonsense. The movement is comprised of Americans of all political parties and backgrounds. It is about restoring Constitutional integrity to the nation, by enforcing the limited powers granted to the federal government and allowing the many states to govern as they were intended to.

Monetary Policy: End The Federal Reserve!
There is no doubt in my mind that if we do not change the monetary policies of the United States soon, we will be reduced to a poor nation with its people enslaved to the banking cartels of the world.
I have posted links to The Money Masters and related videos for over a year. People have been listening, but they have also been listening to the spin that returning to a "gold standard" would jeopardize our monetary system, because those that own large gold reserves would flood the market and make gold "worthless." In all of the recorded history of this planet, there has never been precedence for that to be true. Gold like all precious metals has always retained its value as a reliable currency throughout history. The only reason that the value of gold changes is because the value of the money changes. Gold is still a valuable commodity and will always be.
Now we must return to that system if we are to remove the debts from our nation once and for all. It is and always was the banking industry that caused the greatest economic crises on the planet. Either by lending money they don't have (fractional reserve lending) or by squeezing the borrower to the point of bankruptcy with high interest rates and improbable terms of lending.
Returning to an asset-backed monetary system will stabilize our dollar, regardless of the rest of the world. Being able to compete and play fair in a global economy must begin with a stable currency and economic climate here at home. Our nation's monetary system is the responsibility of Congress as was stated in the U.S. Constitution. But in 1914, against the warnings of those founders who foresaw what private banks can and will do to a nation's currency, decided to outsource the printing and valuation of America's money to private banks. And to foreign banks at that! Bank of England, Bank of France, and Deutsche Bank of Germany own the Fed, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund. Sure there are other "investors" who bought stock in those banking corporations, and many who were already quite wealthy, made even more off the backs of third-world nations who were unable to pay those loans, and whose natural resources became the property of the banks.
How long do you think we in America have? If we cannot end the Federal Reserve within this coming year (2011) then we surely will have a new currency by 2012.
Can you say, "Amero?"
The new North American Union will swallow the US and replace its Constitution and monetary system with International Laws and the AMERO! We are facing the last of the great experiment in freedom, and soon will be slaves to the world banks.

Shots Across the Bow
The results of last night's election sends a message to Congress and the White House. It was not the defeat of the sitting President and his Democratic coalition, but it does signal the people want change, and not the change that Obama and Congress has been about.
The first thing that I noticed was that there are a few races that were disappointing (to me) because I felt that the public bought the spin and voted out of fear. I would be more fearful of allowing the status quo to remain. There has been so much dangerous legislation passed by the Democrats in Congress. With the House control moving to a Republican majority, it will only mean that we (the People) will have an opportunity, but only if the newly elected representatives will live up to their promises and stick by the Constitution.
There was a noticeable sway back toward the incumbents in several races, which as I saw it, was instigated by lies leaked into the mainstream media for general public consumption. One local ad said that Art Robinson, the independent challenger to an otherwise uncontested Congressional seat long occupied by Democrat, Peter DeFazio, was supported by "big bucks" from Wall Street. Another claimed that DeFazio voted against bailouts for the banks and Wall Street. The former ad neglected to mention the fact that the financing received from "Corporate backers" were for R&D projects by Dr. Robinson, a professor and scientist, who relies on that type of funding for his work, not for his election campaign. The latter ad fails to mention the fact that DeFazio voted for the health care bill and also the food safety bill, both of which are not only unconstitutional laws, but will cost all working Americans plenty over the next few years.
The failure of measures in California and Oregon to pass Marijuana legislation only shows the ignorance of the general public and they will still be paying to incarcerate pot smokers, and billions in the law enforcement costs to keep marijuana a controlled substance. The fact that hemp has so many uses including food and fuel makes me wonder if our government is really serious about energy independence.

Unconstitutional Health Care Bill
Several judges in several states have dismissed law suits and others are moving forward with them. It seems that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) is being questioned not for its validity by Constitutional law, but by the Commerce Clause and what Congress can do when faced with economic decisions.
In the case of State of Florida v. United States Department of Health and Human Services, Judge Roger Vinson reminds us that even in the face of a perceived crisis, such as the number of uninsured and rising health care costs, it is not enough that a law be wise and expedient, it must also respect the limits imposed by the U. S. Constitution.
It is obvious to me that this gentleman truly respects that Constitution and will allow the case to move forward. Not all jurisdictions are of the same opinion, and that seems to display a propensity by judges to legislate from the bench. Clearly, that is also restricted by Constitutional law, but the United States Supreme Court seems to ignore it regularly.
Access to health care can be seemed a "right" by some, but it is clear that does not indicate "entitlement" to health care, that is, you are not and should not expect that someone else must pay for your needs if you are unable to afford them yourself.
While I do feel that people do need to have medical assistance to remain healthy and productive citizens, that does not burden the rest of the nation to provide their care and treatments. Perhaps the health insurers and the pharmaceutical manufacturers that have enjoyed such enormous profits and growth, despite the economic downward spiral of nearly every other sector of business and finance, can give their support to the "crisis" in health care.

Global Socialism Has Covertly Siezed America and Will Rule The World
The title and video are from YouTube, but the message is clear. We are being usurped by the very people we chose to protect us. Our representative federal republic is being transformed into a socialist member of a global government.
The Obama Administration and his Democratic Congress are advancing the destruction of this country from within. When sessions resume after the elections in November, the President and his cabinet will be charging forward with sweeping changes to communications that will allow the government to wiretap at will. There will no longer we any privacy to individuals in America.
The Health Care bill will increase taxes while it reduces coverage to those who need it the most. Medicare will lose revenue and force seniors to pay increased premiums and co-pay expenses. And to pay for it all, the government will levy additional taxes on property sales furthering the burden on those that earn, to support the "entitlements" of those who do not work.
The Obama Nation is a socialist nation that wants us all to be totally dependent on the federal government. According to former British MEP Dan Hannan (http://www.examiner.com/tea-party-in-portland-me/hannan-s-the-new-road-to-serfdom-is-a-must-read), the EU is taking freedoms away from every member nation and turning them into subjects of a totalitarian global government.
We have an opportunity, no, a duty, to make our voices heard above the rhetoric and spin, to elect representation here in the United States, that clearly reflects our opposition to socialism and government control of our individual lives.
In just a few weeks, many Americans will be voting for candidates to represent them in local, state and federal governments. If we as a whole will support third-party and independent candidates, without "political experience," we will make a positive change in our lives. If we don't, and we succumb to the scare tactics of the two-party system, we will be lost as a sovereign nation.

Vote Them Out!
This year, America has the opportunity to take back the out of control government, and restore Constitutional liberties to the citizens, fiscal responsibility in federal government, and restoration of a sound monetary system that is not debit based.
The Republicans will have you believe that if you vote for a third-party candidate, that you will be giving away a vote to their Democratic opponents. This is not about either party, it is about restoring the republic.
The Tea Party movement is just that; it's a grassroots movement just like the one that moved Barak Hussein Obama into the White House. We the People are the Tea Party. We are not going to listen to those that we elected to represent us, they don't know how to run an ethical campaign, how can we expect them to act any better when they take an oath to serve?
Each of them takes an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America, from all enemies both foreign and domestic, and yet they are the very criminals that have usurped the Constitution, and have made government the necessity of the enslaved public.
Businesses are best left to their own successes and failures, and the burdens of over regulation on the pretense of public protect is ludicrous in the least, but it is the harm it does that is devastating to our nation.
The most Constitutionally fundamental, Libertarian ideology can best be demonstrated by the long-time Republican Congressman from Texas, Dr. Ron Paul. If you have been afraid of voting for a Libertarian candidate because of all of the media nonsense about them being radical, then I guess I am a radical as well.
Because I love this nation as it was designed to be, a free nation for all its citizens, and where the individual States exercised their Constitutional powers to govern. The Federal Government has become a money pit of debt and corruption. We have gone from the richest to to the most indebted country in world in a relatively short time, and unless we act now to stop it, it will cost us and generations to come our very freedom.
It does not matter how you registered, so long as you vote for a candidate that is not a career politician, that has no "in the Beltway" experience whatsoever. Someone that will be representing the people of their Congressional district and the Senators as representation for the States. And please make the same ideological choices when you vote for local and state candidates also, they are are your first representatives who will have the most immediate impact on you communities.
For many years, it was the "big corporations" that many people felt were controlling the government. Now it appears as if the government is beginning to control the corporations. All smoke and mirrors my fellow Americans.
It is the Federal Reserve and its controlling banks that are behind it all, and it has been almost 100 years since they began the reign of enslavement. For me, I want people in Congress who will enact the legislation to end the Fed and restore us to an asset-backed monetary system, where every dollar is worth real value. But that is for another time. Getting the incumbents out and the right people into Congress is the most important thing we can do as American citizens this November.

That's Not What You Are Paid For!
Instead of addressing the issues, Congress has decided to take a break, and campaign instead of legislate. I could say that it is good there are not selling out more of America, but that would be over-simplifying the facts.
We elect representation in government to protect our rights, and somewhere that has become twisted into them feeling they are our leaders. We are their bosses, and they tell us they are NOT going to do their jobs until after we vote? That makes my choices narrowed down quite a bit.
Since I am speaking of Congress, it is important to stress the arrogance displayed here. Congress passes a hugely unconstitutional health care bill, yet exempts themselves from it. The vote raises for themselves at tax payer expense, take pensions and benefits with them after leaving office, and we all pay for it.
This is not about Democrats and Republicans, it is about restoring the republic to the people, by following the Constitutional reservations and limits of power given to the federal government. It is also about integrity and honesty, which is severely lacking in all areas of Washington politics.
Experience in politics is not a prerequisite to being a good representative of the people, in fact it seems it hinders it. Experienced politicians know exactly how to maneuver the lobbyists and media spin to their personal advantage regardless of the detrimental effects to the very people they represent. Perhaps there is a real simple way to discourage career-minded representatives. Make the job less glamorous and profitable.
After serving a term, return to the job or business you were in prior to your term. Take away the federal salaries and benefits and make the State and the citizens of that State pay for the expenses of their own representatives. I'm sure if California taxpayers were responsible for Nancy Pelosi's salary and transportation expenses, she may be flying coach instead of private jet.
Time for common sense to replace what we have in Washington now. Time to stop listening to the lies and replace the liars. It's not about party politics, it's about doing what is right for all Americans.
I pledge that my votes will be for the candidates who serve the highest good, the best interests of the people, regardless of their party affiliation or independence to party politics. I further pledge that I will not reelect an incumbent, choosing instead to vote for someone new, inexperienced, but highly ethical and motivated.
One election will not change over 100 years of progressive destruction to the Constitutional federal republic, but it is a start. And when America wakes up the day after elections to discover a majority of incumbents (and crooks) will NOT be taking office, it will send a clear message to the rest of those politicians who have expiring terms coming up in the next round.

Tea Party or Broom Party?
There is so much clamor in the media linking the "Tea Party" to everything from radical neo-conservatives to terrorists seeking to create anarchy. Many Republicans have called for so called "Tea Party" candidates to step aside and back a Republican, because they have a better chance of gaining the support of the American voter, than a "radical Libertarian" that wants to legalize drugs and give hand guns to everyone.
Nothing could be further distorted about what the Tea Party movement is all about. Breaking from traditional party politics, the citizens that comprise the "Tea Partyers" are from all walks of life, of every color and ethnic makeup, of many different political ideologies, who are looking to restore Constitutional integrity to the United States of America, and to give economic recovery a chance to happen in a free market system without the burdens of government regulations and mandates, and a burden of taxation that forces many corporations to relocate overseas.
Ideologically, I consider myself Libertarian, and I register to vote as a Libertarian. I am not however, a member of the Libertarian Party, I do not pay dues, and will not consider any party affiliation at all. That is my choice to make. That does not mean that I will not back a candidate who is a member of a party. I will vote for those people that best serve the interests of the constituency they will represent. Experience in politics is something that I personally feel is a negative when reviewing a candidate's biography and resume. I want someone who going to represent our best interests and a "seasoned politician" knows how to "work the system" so that he can please the people he represents a bit and still maintain a "rewarding relationship" with the special interests groups that get first priority on any considered legislation.
This November, I am going to become a member of the "Broom Party" and sweep out the stagnant incumbents at all levels of government. America needs new blood in government. We need people who have real experience in how the government's own regulatory system is an obstacle to real growth, and who understand that so long as we have a debit-based monetary system, we will be forever paying for it with inflation and recession.
I have posted before about the site with the documentary film The Money Masters several times, and I am too lazy to go grab the URL and copy and paste it. Besides, if people do the work themselves to research it, then it will be their experience and not my opinion. I feel that serve the highest good and therefore allow others to think for themselves.
If you are sick and tired of decades of two-party politicking and want real change in government, then you are getting off late but not too late to research alternative candidates who will best server YOUR interests and those of your family and community. We need to start fresh so as to have a real change occur. We have endured decades of the two-party system and when you sum it all up, it has not worked!
I am sure there are incumbents that are worthy of reelecting but they are far and few between. GOP Congressman Dr. Ron Paul is one that immediately comes to mind along with Arizona Governor Jan Brewer. Standing up for what is best for America amid all of the pressure from the media and activist groups, as well as the federal government who, one would think, would be supporting the States rights to protect itself from illegal invasion from illegal citizens of many nations, that cross into the United States along the southern border.
And Dr. Paul's relentless attack on the Federal Reserve System gets almost no serious media attention whatsoever. At the very least he is labeled a radical as he was ignored by his own party's "endorsed" presidential nominees during the debates. The media manipulates the public opinion by omission of facts and injects spin in its place.
Tea Party candidates are representing a Constitutional government, where the States rights are restored, where the monetary system belongs to the nation instead of private foreign banks and the responsibility for the stability and soundness remains with Congress and not a secretly-meeting body of "board members" who do not represent your best interests or mine.
Yes, just like the Colonial Tea Party participants, this November there are many in government, who for years have been firmly anchored in the Beltway System, will be cast overboard like rotting waste to make room for fresh ideas brought from real life experience and not political back-room deal making.
Unlike true democracies, a representative federal republic as was designed by our founders, balances power amongst the citizens AND the States. Now to some that may seem redundant, but it was not always so. The 16th and 17th Amendments to the Constitution of the United States, upset the balance of power and as a result, helped to create the debit-based America we live in today.
If we are to remain sovereign and become a prosperous nation again, then We the People must take our voting rights seriously and do the brave thing to save our nation from within as our brave troops are defending our freedom abroad.

Stop Fracking Around With Our Drinking Water!
The practice of hydraulic fracturing or fracking is a method to release natural gas and oil from beneath the surface. It is used when other methods are too costly and impractical. But it has its consequences.
It requires large amounts of water in addition to sand and chemicals to be pumped into wells, sometimes to depths of 8,000 feet, in order to release trapped gas and oil deposits. But all of that fresh water is now contaminated and it can then leech back into the aquifers further destroying precious potable water supplies.
One method that may be considered instead, is to provide desalinated sea water for fracking instead of fresh water from the streams and rivers. If the salt is t hen returned to the seas, it may offset some of the reduced salinity caused by glacier meltoffs, that have further contributed to the changing chemistry of the world's oceans.
Many places are beginning to suffer from the practice of fracking, and yet the EPA is continuing its "study" of the problem. Apparently it is most cost effective to the drillers and the energy corporations, but it is devastating to whole communities, which I see as being of primary concern in light of what serves the highest good of all concerned.
For too long, the concerns of the people have been secondary to the profits of the corporation. That is not what our government is supposed to be protecting. The government of the people, by the people, is FOR the people, not the corporations and so WE THE PEOPLE must step up and make the changes required to keep us all safe.

Economics That Work for All
In a world that grows increasingly interdependent on one another, and whose own economic stability is interdependent on the stability of its own economic allies, it is only common sense that the business structure itself needs to adapt to a global economy.
Like it or not, there is a definite distinction between the working class and the college educated professional. In a world of automation and high tech manufacturing processes, it is apparent that the worker that watches the process is less skilled than the one that programs the processes or maintains the hardware.
Salary differences clearly indicate the technicians earn more than the line workers, and the engineers and scientists earn more, or at least they need to, in order that corporations can keep the good ones. But evidently salary alone is not enough in this competitive world, and so sophisticated benefits packages and other perks are offered to attract the best available professionals for the job.
But it is also obvious that in order to remain competitive in global markets where there is wide diversity in the salaries of all employee levels, finding the best does not always mean that they will be hired in the United States. And with the crushing unemployment rate as it remains today, getting companies to hire American workers is going to be key to any real recovery and sustainable economic growth.
One idea that came to mind is for corporations in America to build housing for their employees. By offering workers a place to live and a salary, lower wages will not mean unaffordable housing to a good portion of the workforce. Community gardens can offer the opportunity for employees to participate in growing and harvesting their own fruits and vegetables, further reducing their own costs of living and benefiting from good nutrition.
New corporate manufacturing and headquarters campuses can be designed to take advantage of providing living space and shopping space for businesses to lease close to campus and, if the layout is done properly, can allow the businesses to operate with the general public while maintaining campus security also.
In lieu of an expensive health care plan, large corporations can have their own clinics staffed with physicians on salary or contract. Perhaps local doctors would contract to provide several hours coverage in the clinics, which would compliment and supplement their local office hours.
Economic growth will only occur when the businesses that make up the economy are “stimulated” to grow. Government funding is not the answer, giving the consumer what they want and making it here in America is.

Art Robinson for Congress
"The Time is Now... DeFeat DeFazio!"
This is the tag line on the Art Robinson liturature that I received in the mail some time ago. I have been reading and I feel this man deserves an opportunity to serve his fellow Oregonians. Now that doesn't mean that I agree with all of his views, but I do feel he has demonstrated that he is a man of integrity and honor, and that is the type of representative that I want in my district.
For too long now, we have been locked into the two-party system with excuses ranging from "Don't confuse the voter with too many choices!" to a more expeditious, "It's in the government's best interest." It's about OUR best interests that we have elections in the first place, so how can it be justified being in the government's best interest? That seems like a conflict of interests to me.
One of the main reasons that I am backing all new candidates this year is to get rid of the "mob rule" wherever it resides. Give people who have struggled in business and farming the opportunity to represent their own. Keep in mind that the citizens that are employed by these businesses will be their consumers. It seems that it is in the best interests of all that everyone is treated fairly. Perhaps those that have had a taste of what is wrong today will also see that doing the same things on a grander scale is not going to fix anything, in fact it will only make matters worse eventually. What a legacy to leave for future generations.
Congressman DeFazio like most incumbents, needs to move on. Write a book, lecture at a college, but get out of government. While it is charitable to have given his Congressional pay raises to a worthy cause, the fact that he can vote himself a raise in the first place needs to be corrected. And the fact that his health care is excluded from the health care bill he voted in favor of is paid for by the taxpayer, I do not see how he can accept that and a pension besides.
Art Robinson needs to prove nothing as his biography will tell you, and his desire to serve the people of Oregon is a brave and patriotic act. To be willing to take on the challenges Congress will face is a testament to the character of the man. And it can be that way in many offices if more patriotic Americans are willing to step up and take on the challenges.
People from all walks of life with various experiences that collectively represent a more accurate demographic of the American population is what will bring back the Constitutional integrity to the government and the trust of the American people.

The Fall of Our Discontent
It is raining for the first time in many weeks here in the Willamette Valley and it is for me, the first sign of the fall. It is also an indication that November elections will be upon us very soon. Time to make choices.
I am backing Art Robinson in my Congressional District to end the reign of Democratic incumbent Peter Defazio. I have met with the Congressman in town hall meetings and write to him weekly. His voting record speaks for itself, as he has backed the health care plan and other liberty robbing government bills against what I and most other constituents want.
But this year is also an opportunity for all Americans to stand up and make their voices heard above the noise from the liberal majority and their media spin doctors. For decades now, the two party system has given us nothing but bloated government and increased spending. With the new health care legislation and cap and trade, America will be reduced to a per capita income of some third-world countries. And in a state where unemployment has been 10%, we cannot afford the changes that the present administration and Congress have been giving us.
I feel that we are on the brink of economic collapse unless we take radical steps to insure our nation's economic future. Even the Federal Reserve is at a loss as to what to do, as their inflationary system of debit-based currency cannot possibly endure if the United States is to remain solvent.
We need to restore fiscal responsibility and integrity to this nations monetary system, and ending the Federal reserve System is what is required. That and having Congress take its Constitutional responsibility to "coin currency and set the value thereof..." as it was charged to do. Passing that responsibility off onto private banking was the single most treasonous act that a sitting Congress has ever perpetrated on its citizens. The Federal Reserve Act enslaved the public to "working for the man" just to pay the interest on the debt our government created.
Charity begins at home and it high time that American money was used to take care of America. Foreign aid given to nations that hate us is not in our best interests, so why bother? Use the funds instead to rebuild American infrastructure, making us independent of foreign fuels and products. That is not to say we boycott them, only that we will have a choice whether or not to buy American or foreign. Today, even when it is an American brand, it is made in a foreign nation, as the American company moved manufacturing off shore to take advantage of cheap labor and lower taxes. In that case, to level the playing field for real American-based companies, there needs to be tariffs and taxes levied on foreign goods and services.
I am looking at candidates running for office that are new, with solid backgrounds in business and community. Candidates who have demonstrated their humanity and common sense in areas other than politics. I trust these people will represent the people who elect them and not special interests, because they have demonstrated that inclination in their personal and professional lives. And when they complete their terms of office, they will return to their previous private lives without burdens on the taxpaying public.

Cancer: World's Top Economic 'Killer'
According to an Associate Press article, "Cancer is the world's top "economic killer" as well as its likely leading cause of death, the American Cancer Society contends in a new report it will present at a global cancer conference in China this week.
Cancer costs more in productivity and lost life than AIDS, malaria, the flu and other diseases that spread person-to-person, the report concludes.
Chronic diseases including cancer, heart disease and diabetes account for more than 60 percent of deaths worldwide but less than 3 percent of public and private funding for global health, said Rachel Nugent of the Center for Global Development, a Washington-based policy research group."
And it doesn't have to be that way, as I have discovered many low cost treatments that are more effective than the standard treatments given by modern medicine today. The continued out of control costs for health care are obviously due to the increase in the number of cases of cancer, diabetes and heart disease. All of these are curable or preventable or both by proper nutrition and exercise.
We need to lobby our state legislatures to allow alternative treatments to be accepted by health care plans and licenses practitioners. Modern medicine needs to rethink natural remedies as they work with the body's immune system effectively. Unlike drugs that suppress autoimmune functions, natural remedies compliment and support immune system health. And what drug made by humans can be more affective against disease than what nature created?

In Loving Memory: Cyndi Marsico 3-20-1947 8-3-2010
I buried my wife Cyndi last Sunday, back in Pennsylvania with family and friends in attendance. Cyndi was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer with metastasized tumors in her spine and brain. There was nothing that conventional medicine could (would) do for her. But it does NOT have to be that way for others.
During the past month, I learned quite a bit about alternative cancer treatments that are not available in the United States because they are not "approved" by The FDA or the AMA. While they are proving to be more effective than conventional chemo-therapy and radiation, the fact that the therapies use natural ingredients and compounds, classifies them as "not a cure for any diseases or illnesses" because here in America only drugs can be classified as cures.
Now my grandfather who was a physician himself for over 50 years, said that drugs "treat the symptoms and not the disease" in direct opposition the AMA/FDA standard line. During the time before the health care bill passed, I read an editorial by an emergency room doctor who said himself that it is the immune system that needs to cure the body.
Drugs that suppress autoimmune function are given in the form of steroids to reduce inflammation and morphine for pain which constipates and dehydrates. All that modern medicine offers is death as comfortable and pain free as possible. But based on my personal experience, that is not reality. My wife was not comfortable with the care givers and said so. She also was not pain free with morphine, so they gave her other pain medications and sleeping aids.
But I want to do something positive and not just place blame on the health care industry. What I want to do is create changes that will allow alternative treatments to be used on cancer patients, at the very least, for those who have been abandoned my medical science. So I am looking into creating a not for profit foundation to support alternative cancer treatments in a clinical environment with medical staff to administer and monitor treatments and successes.
With the new health care bill comes some very dangerous legislation. This bill can deny health care to those who medical science deems incurable, leaving family and friends to watch their loved one die. Currently, health care plans will pay for "end of life care" but not for alternative therapy. And that needs to change if we are going to cure diseases and really get health care costs down.

Out of Control Health Care
I am so angry at the despicable U.S. health care system. I cannot get past
the concept that Cancer is incurable. But what I really have a problem
with is the fact that when there are no more "conventional" treatments
that remain financially self-serving "viable", instead of seeking out
alternative or unconventional protocols, the health care system throws
up their hands and decides the patient has no real rights to fight for
life and only a "comfortable and pain free" final days is in order.
Let me assure you that my wife is neither pain free or comfortable with
the level of care she is receiving. This weekend at home was her most
comfortable since returning from the hospital and hospice. The handling
of her by aides and nurses that appear to be competely devoid of proper
medical procedure or training is at best criminal and at the worst
criminally inhumane. The drugs prescribed for her by her family doctor
and administered by hospice care are all for assisting the body to shut
down. There seems to an exception in the laws that seems to allow for
no other action but planned execution.
It took me more than two weeks to even get to speak to her primary care
physician, and then only under threat of reporting him to the state
medical board. He refused to participate in any alternative treatments
that were not AMA/FDA approved which is the true nemesis of good health
in the United States. When I pointed out the fact that he misdiagnosed
her lung cancer as spinal arthritis and failed to find lung tumors and
cancerous tumors in her brain, he remained silent.
Many have been supporting me from afar, I thank them and those that are
knowledgeable in such matters tell me to get a lawyer. (incorrect issue),
What I really want is a compassionate doctor knowledgeable with disease;
and the techniques and methodologies, which reduce disease. When the health
care system deems a human being is no longer viable, Law suits will
not heal anything, and that is all I care about. I want to save my wife's
life and all those in the health care business are telling me that a proper
diagnosis wasn't made early enough and its too late.
Who gets to make the choice of whether it is to late to do anything? I
thought it was up to her and me; since, she communicated that she wanted
to fight for life, no matter what.
I plan on making the issues of the deplorably poor educational institutions
teaching outmoded, incorrect medical science supported by a never ending
revolving door between the pharmaceutical industry, the FDA, and the medical
profession a priority in my commentaries and discussions. I will raise awareness,
I will educate lay persons, and I will lobby the state and federal governments to
look beyond the AMA, FDA approved methods, many of which are 50 years or
more out of date, or simply have been proven incorrect.
I will not stop until the victims of cancer and other diseases in the United States
are allowed to receive proper efficacious medical treatment. Treatments that give
patients better than a fighting chance for life.

Health Care:Changes for Worst
I haven't been posting for a while due to the devastating developments in my personal life. My wife, my friend and partner in life was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer that has metastasized into tumors in her spine and brain. Because of her advanced condition, there is nothing that conventional oncology can do. She came home to me on Thursday July 17, and the prognosis was that she probably would not last the weekend. But I tried a few alternatives that seems to be working, although the results are minuscule, she is still with me today.
So I would like to discuss the challenges I face, not from the cancer, but from a health care system that has already pronounced her dead and encouraging me to let her go. Truth be known, I have been grieving now for two weeks, and have made peace with that. But she wants me to continue to fight for her. I explained that she will still suffer from the pain, but she insists that I have to help her get better so she and I can renew our vows next June for our 25th Anniversary.
All ofthe medications that were prescribed by her primary care doctor are being administered via hospice service. I explained before signing papers that she wants to fight the cancer and they agreed not to interfere with that, but cannot (by law) participate in anything that the doctor does not direct. But while they made promises to keep her comfortable, they have done just the opposite, pushing and rolling her like a potato sack and after she is in agony from their rough handling, they load her up with drugs.
I am using a cancer therapy that I discovered through research and friends advice. I am also working frantically to rebuild her immune system which has been decimated by the drug HUMIRA. Just today I discover that one of the drugs she is taking for inflammation is also an auto-immune suppressant. The excuse is that it is necessary for her comfort, but it agitates her so much that we are both up most of the night.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no Constitutional law that allows anyone in health care to choose when someone needs to die. It has always been my understanding that health care is about "caring" for one's health, not destroying it. From the beginning of this ordeal, it has been one medical miscue after another. If anyone out there knows the law well enough to advise me on this, please do contact me. While I am focused on saving my bride's life, I do want to hold accountable those who did not perform enough preliminary tests before giving her immune-suppressants, and the misdiagnosis of lung cancer as spinal arthritis.

Nullifying Federal Mandates
"When a state 'nullifies' a federal Law, it is proclaiming that the in law in question is void and inoperative, or 'non-effective' within the boundaries of that state; or, in other words, not a law as far as the state is concerned."
This is the opening paragraph of a tri-fold 'brochure' that is available through the Tenth Amendment Center, "a national 'think tank' that works to preserve and protect the principles of strictly limited government through information, education, and activism."
The principles of nullifying federal laws has precedence in the Kentucky Resolution of 1798 in which Jefferson wrote, "The several states composing the United States of America are not united on the principles of unlimited submission to their general government, He states further that, "where the powers are assumed (by the federal or general government) which have NOT been delegated, a nullification of the act is the rightful remedy."
Madison also asserted in his Virginia Resolution of 1798, that the core premise of all nullification laws- that State governments not only have the right to resist unconstitutional Federal acts, but so that liberty may be protected they are "duty bound to interpose" or stand between the Federal government and the people of their state.
Without digressing into Constitutional review of Amendments made since the time of these resolutions of nullification, it is apparent that the citizens elect representation in their state legislative bodies as well as Federal, and with the exception of the direct election of the Senate, which was once the province of those State Legislative bodies along with the State Governor, selected or appointed Senators to represent the state, and with that we lost an essential balance of power that enabled the State and the people equal representation in the Federal houses.
It was more difficult then for the Federal government to enact laws that were contrary to the wishes and best interests of the State and the citizens of those states. We must correct that "flaw' amended to the Constitution.
I support the nullification of the Federal Reserve Act, as it removes the explicit responsibility of the monetary system from Congress and puts the nations wealth into the hands of private banks. It was designed as it was to prevent private banks from obtaining control of the nations treasury and now we have debts owed to those secret member banks that generations to come will have to pay down. But the reality is that it can never be paid off completely because the Federal government must literally buy money at a premium from the Fed! Hello out there America! Are you awake yet?
Point your favorite browser toward the Tenth Amendment Center's website and learn about why we have the deficits we do, the sooner the better. This is NOT about party politics, and it is not about the current administration and its liberal support in Congress. This is about freedom and slavery.
Just because there is no taskmaster with a bullwhip standing behind you, as more and more individual rights and liberty are taken in the name of "protecting you" we all become that much closer to shackled slaves. We are being shackled to a "National ID" and now a national medical system. The government has been stepping in to "bailout" banks and businesses, and when they do, they hire government workers (they're the ones who depend on our taxes for their wages) to administer the bailout plan which also means that there is government control of the business.
I do not not how long it will take before we are left with no rights. It has been a very slow and deliberate process that begun before the ink was dry on the Constitution itself, and may even have roots in the Articles of Confederation. I defer to the many expert conspiracy theorists who have written books and produced documentaries on those subjects. I do not make royalties on my blogging so I do not solicit their wares. There are so many places online where one can gather good information, that I see no pint in pointing someone to a particular author or activist.
Americans really need to learn that "Uncle Sam" is not all that powerful, only that we allow it to be powerful by being weak! Stand up for your freedoms or you will lose them. The protectors of liberty are you and me.

Did Income Taxes Factor Into LeBron’s Decision?
I can hear every Cavalier fan screaming foul, but before they settle their sights on LeBron as the "defector" they need to look at the reasons why he made the move in the first place. What it boils down to is simply a matter of economics. Florida does not have a state income tax so Mr. James will get to keep about one million more dollars per year than anywhere else he may have gone.
State income taxes are an additional burden that is slowing economic recovery. Raising income taxes is never a good idea, even in a robust economy, simply because it take money out of circulation. If the government has it, the people don't and hence neither do the retailers or banks. And the government don't have it either because right after they collect it, it gets handed over to the Federal Reserve System to pay down the interest on the debt.
But instead of reducing the tax burden on its citizens, the Obama Administration and the Democratic socialists in Washington are going to tax you on those medical benefits that you receive (if you are fortunate to have employer-paid medical coverage) by including the employer's contribution as part of your income.
So how is that change working for you now? While the headlines are filled with LeBron James' defection to Miami, Lindsay Lohan's incarceration, and of course the devastating oil leak off the Gulf coast, Washington has been hard at work passing legislation that all or in part will deny the citizens more civil liberties and require more rights given up for the sake of what? Reducing the costs of medical care? How? By raising more taxes on what you earn?
I have to get back to this issue again, but I am open to suggestions as to what we can do to stop the ebb of rights and the destruction of the United States from within. And I am still not convinced that Barak Hussein Obama has Constitution authorization to hold the office of President of the United States.
But that is a minor problem in all the problems we now face and must overcome to remain a sovereign nation.

The Cowboy Solution to save Gasoline
I received an email yesterday from a very good friend of mine, who is in addition to being a very patriotic American, is a man with common sense and ethics. He also possesses a wonderful sense of humor.
OBAMA wants
us to cut the amount of gasoline we use.....
The
best way to stop using so
That
would be 20 million less people
The price
of gas would come down.....
Give
him a soldier's pay while he's there
After
his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country.....
He
will also be registered to be taxed and
If
they refuse to serve, ship them to
OBAMA wants

much Gasoline is to
deport 20 million
illegal immigrants!

using our gas.
The price

Bring our troops
home from Afghanistan to
guard the borders....
When
they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the
Border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Afghanistan ....
Tell
him if he wants to come to AMERICA then he must serve a tour in OUR military....

Obama attacks GOP over vision for the country
So The President says, "Their prescription for every challenge is pretty much the same - and I don't think I'm exaggerating here: basically cut taxes for the wealthy, cut rules for corporations and cut working folks loose to fend for themselves."
So his party wants to raise taxes on the wealthy, which coming from poverty and entitlements, that includes everyone that earns a wage, so they can give more to those that deserve it the least.
It amazes me that so many college educated people in government thought that by spending more money, they would be helping the economy. Now I am not getting on Democrats and Obama, as there were bailouts that began during the last Bush administration, so Republicans are not blameless. They too must be held accountable for their actions.
And as I listened to another sound bite of Obama claiming that he has created jobs and the unemployment rate is starting to fall, it occurred to me that the jobs that he is talking about are government jobs, mostly those temporary census jobs that pay very well, depending on where you live it has been reported (confirmed source) that it can be as high as $17.75 per hour.
I cannot see how Americans can still support the "changes" that are taking place now. I guess if you are on welfare and want to remain there, Obama and the Democrats are your saviors, but for the rest of Americans that take responsibility to provide for the needs of their own, it has been nothing less than a horror story, a nightmare come true.
When will Americans stop voting for the two parties that get us into these messes decade after decade? When will YOU make a difference with your vote? I was told last Presidential election that a vote for a third-party candidate is as good as a vote for Obama. I want to make it clear right now this in not true. A vote for the candidate that I feel best suited for the job can never be the wrong thing to do.
Now I would like to offer a challenge: On election day this coming November, vote only for candidates that are not Democrats or Republicans. And do not vote for any incumbent candidates as they too need replacements with fresh faces. If Americans rally and do this then it will change the Congressional Branch of government at once. And if there are any incumbents or Dems or Reps that do get elected, I would then investigate the elections board for fraud.

Cancer in Congress
As I watch the news and read about the oil spewing out of that ruptured pipe in the Gulf of Mexico, it saddens me to know that this is a scripted act. Now that does not mean that the explosion on the rig that caused the leak was planned, although it is possible. My interpretation of it is more of an opportunity for the government to take actions that restrict more freedoms and take more control from private industry.
As the hurricane season gets into full swing, the damages from this oil leak will be felt globally. Already the prices of goods have gone up and fuel prices that traditional rise in the summer months are now reaching their previous year marks and will soar above them.
Congress has done nothing but exacerbate the problems by increasing spending while jobless rates soar. And I am not fooled by the slight increase in employment figures as many of them are government jobs and a good percentage of them are temporary Census jobs. Regardless of the government and media hype, unemployment in some areas is well beyond 10% and in some areas it is reported to be as high as 30%.
The political climate in Washington is a joke. A two-party system of corruption on both sides that are at best ineffective and quite destructive when they actual do take action. And now the bills being passed around and which will be voted on soon, will give the government the power to control Internet access. If the White House does not like what is being said, they will have the power and authority to shut you down. The very Internet that gave Obama a grassroots campaign to the White House is now seen as a threat to his agenda. Well I guess the illegal alien in the White House IS being threatened! He is pretender and is a cancer at the very heart and soul of this one great nation.
I say cure the cancer! Remove the growths that support it, and it will whither and die without it's food supply. End the reign of slavery that is the Federal Reserve System, and give the States back the selection of Senators by their respective legislatures. That is a balance of power that was removed by the 17th Amendment. Abolish the Fed and charge Congress with its Constitutional obligation to coin (print) currency and set the value for it. Using asset-backed money instead of fiat money it will make America's economy more stable. And abolish the Internal Revenue Service as we will no longer need a collection agency for the Federal Reserve mob.
The abolishing of the FRS and IRS will allow the States to take full responsibility for collection of taxes and fees. They do it now anyway, so it will there will be no additional costs involved with doing so. The States can then submit revenue to the Federal government when the Fed's budget shows it requires funding from the States for services. The individual and businesses that pay taxes, will pay only on profits and not on income. And just like businesses, when taxes are required from individuals, it will be assessed against profits and not wages.
If all Americans refuse to vote for any incumbent or candidate from the Dems or Reps, and chooses only candidates that are NOT members of the two parties mentioned, it will clean houses quickly and allow us to get back on track. On the other hand, it may expose the voter fraud in those areas that use electronic election machines.
Finally, because voting is a right and because it is so necessary for all American citizens to have a voice in government, I feel that instead of an election day, we need an election week. That will give all registered voters plenty of time to study the candidates and the issues to make a more informed choice at the ballot box. And I feel that because it is so important, it needs to be done by hand and not electronically. I feel that there is personal empowerment in signing a ballot with pen that is lacking in pressing button on a keypad or a touch-sensitive display screen.

Federal Crimes and the End of Law
There is no doubt in my mind that the oil leaking from the destroyed oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico is the responsibility of British Petroleum and its contractors, employees, and executives. That being said, there is and was no criminal intent that can be demonstrated on the part of BP. Unless the explosion and resultant leak is the direct result of sabotage, then BP must be accountable for all damages and the cleanup.
If it is necessary to have government involvement to perform the cleanup, which of course would be paid for with tax dollars, then it would be equally valid and fair to invoice BP for the full amount of the cleanup costs. No criminal charges, no "kiss some ass" as it alleged that Obama was quoted saying to Matt Lauer (I do not watch network news regularly) and no "seizing BP" as some have suggested.
This article that I am writing about displays the dangerous precipice we are crossing and the loose reins given to the federal prosecutors in the US. As is pointed out in this excellent article by William L. Anderson it is taking us down a road that is in total opposition to the principles of "innocent until proven guilty."
For the most part, Americans are allowing those that they elected to represent them, free rein to legislate from politics and not common law or common sense. There are Americans waking up and realizing what is really happening behind the facade.
Let's hope that it's not too little and too late to prevent the destruction of United States sovereignty.

Separation of Church & State
With all of the publicity over prayer in schools, prayers before sporting events, and even a public outcry demanding the removal of the Ten Commandments from a courthouse lobby, it seems that we need to relearn what the context and concept of "separation of church and state" really means and what its intended inclusion was meant for in the Constitution.
In many Islamic nations today, the government legislates through the guidance of the Quran and through the interpretations of the spiritual/political leaders. It is through them that Quran is applied to the laws of the nation. Many people do not agree with this but if they are citizens they must comply. Many immigrate to other countries when they can.
Many years ago, it was the Holy Roman Church that made its doctrines the law of most of Europe. Anyone who disobeyed, disagreed, was not a believer, was tortured and imprisoned or put to death in one of many agonizing ways. The art of torture may have been perfected during the Dark Ages, during the Inquisitions.
When the colonial leaders were drafting a form of government for the colonies, they saw how religious influence can corrupt the body government and enslave the people unto a particular doctrine of faith. To prevent that and to also insure that the people would remain free to practice their own religious customs and traditions without hindrance from the government. What they did not foresee was the bloated government that is surpassing the private sector in employment, but there is strong opposition to that large employee base commemorating any holidays of their faith publicly. No Christmas trees or Menorahs allowed. No pictures or statues or medals depicting saints or prophets, or any symbolism that may "offend" others.
We have gone beyond separation of church and state to the state determining where you may practice your "religious freedom." The legislative branch passed no laws prohibiting the display of symbols of a religious nature, but they are using a Constitutional liberty as a tool to prohibit the display of one's religion in a public (government) place.
I for one am not really for or against the public display of one's faith. Perhaps that is how you can identify others that feel as you do and meet new people with common beliefs. I am against spending money (taxpayer money especially) on decorations and tress because I feel that is people want to do that, it is up to them, but take responsibility financially and also to remove when the holiday is passed. I do not feel that I or any other taxpaying citizen needs to be burden with such a frivolous waste of tax dollars, and today it seems blatantly apparent as to why.
I do not feel that a person decorating their personal space is a violation of anything. Maybe if enough people of different faiths were doing it, they would all learn much about one another by sharing customs instead of denouncing their differences.

In Memory
This weekend as the nation remembers its fallen heroes, those brave men and women who paid for our liberty with their lives, I am also remembering those that gave them the values of America in there homes and schools, as well as their places of worship.
I am also reminded that today in America, defending the principles of our federal representative republic has become politically incorrect. Defending the right to bear arms, to choose for oneself how best to raise your children, and even what health choices you make is rapidly being replaced with government control.
While many enjoy backyard barbecue keep in mind that your representatives are hard at work, crafting the cap and trade legislation that will tax you for every bit of carbon you put into the atmosphere. So next year when you want to light up the charcoals, they will cost more. That carbon tax will be added at the pumps so rest assured that no matter what OPEC prices are, you will pay more for fuels. You will also pay more for electricity where coal and other carbon producing fuels are used.
We the people, are the power of America. It is how it was designed by the drafters of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. It is important that we remember that without its protections we are enslaved to the government, which is rapidly expanding as an overt corporate state.
Banks and financial institutions, automaker, health care, when will it end? Obama's White House is giving us anything but the change and transparency expected. Instead of giving to the people, it is corporations that are reaping the rewards of this administration and the Democratic Socialists controlling Congress.

Setting it Straight
I have been following and commenting on a Facebook thread where the topics have gone from guns to economics to government control over more and more of businesses and individuals.
So someone wrote, "The creation of the Fed appears to have restrained this chaos and anarchy..."
The operative word being "appears" and that is part of the illusion. And the price that we as taxpayers must fork over for the privilege of having the Fed draw water from the well, is that they take theirs from the freshest waters. We get what flows downstream.
So this gentleman was defending the Fed to me and it was all I could do to restrain myself. I decided to blog instead. It was not that there is anything wrong with this man, he is probably a good person and it was not anything about him that got me riled. Pure and simple is the ignorance of the Federal Reserve by most people and then to have someone defend the Fed using the chaos of the 1800's to prove it provided stability?
The chaos was caused by the bankers that wanted to create turmoil to get the government control back via a central bank. It is one "flaw" that was left in the Constitution thanks in no small way to Alexander Hamilton, the bankers' most staunch supporter in federal government. Jefferson and Madison both warned of what a central bank would do to America, and based on results he was right.
When the currency of the nation was partially dependent on the agricultural, industrial, and resources of the nation, the dollar was strong. The turmoil as you mention was not about the value of the dollar it was about the scarcity of them. The government would not print more to devalue them and the banks refused to give up what they had to businesses looking to expand, make inventory or payroll, not because the gold standard was bad. So long as there was gold backing your dollar, it had value that was tangible. You produce a few silver dollars at any store and they will take them as legal tender.
You really need to learn the truth about the Federal Reserve and why it was never in this nation's best interests. It was designed from the beginning to suck huge profits out of America, who all knew would be a wealthy nation and they wanted to become wealthy too. That is why so many came here, because the freedom and the opportunity those freedoms provided were dreams to come true for many of our ancestors. But I do not feel guilt or feel that I need to make restitution to any group of people because of what happened in America 150-200 years ago. My ancestors weren't here yet.
I really do not care if you accept what I say or not because I know that if you do get it, it will change your life as it has everyone else that does get it. Sure, there are those that get it but are still not motivated to do anything about it. They forget that the entire Congress is less than 540 in both houses (534) and 300 million people say they cannot do anything about them? Are you serious?
March 4 or 5 million Americans through Capital Hill and see if that doesn't get their attention. But I am sure that the election results are telling.
And by the way, being called a Tea Party'er is a compliment as it indicates one who supports the Constitution of the United States of America and does not agree with the Uniform Commerce Code that usurps the powers reserved to the States and the People. And it does not matter how it is spun or for what purpose is given, short of a declaration of Marshall Law, I see no Constitutional grounds for most of the Patriot Act. In fact I feel the very name is misleading to most Americans who attribute patriotism with obedience to the government.
When the people fear the government you have tyranny, but when the government fears the people you have liberty.
I have already made my choice.

To Senator Merlkley - You Failed
The following is an email letter that I sent to my Senator just a few minutes ago. I did that right after I discovered that he voted against an amendment to audit the Federal Reserve as part of the bills being passed about now to reform the banking system by giving the Fed even more control than they currently have.
Your "Nay" vote puts you on the side of endless bailouts and an unelected and unaccountable Federal Reserve whose destructive policies wrecked our economy. I cannot understand how you can say you represent my best interests as an Oregonian after voting for a socialist health care bill and against a real opportunity to see the corruption behind the secretive FRS.
I will promise to find the candidate who best represents the interests of Oregon and the United States, and that candidate will defeat you and the vested interests that are destroying the Republic.
Read the Constitution Senator, read it again if you are not getting the purpose of limited federal powers. And read it out loud in chambers for all your fellow Senators to get it too.
The powers not explicitly granted to the federal government (Congress) are reserved to the States and to the People. And the power of the people is just beginning to awaken.
And now I learned just yesterday that the Federal Reserve will print over $900 billion US dollars to bailout the EU! Nearly another trillion dollars of taxpayer money to bailout the European Union!
I believe this is what Bernanke told Congress is a "commitment" the US made at the last Summit (G20?) meeting, to fund IMF and World Bank to finance lending to countries like Greece that are in crisis.
Wake up America!
They are quietly institutionalizing 401(k) and IRA investments so it will be administered just like Social Security, and we know what a great job the government has done with that.

The Government Is Lying
I do not advocate that anyone use alcohol or drugs in an unsafe manner. Both should only be used with discretion and common sense. But I do not like being lied to.
I have never heard of any crimes associated with marijuana except those that are for cultivation, possession or use. I have often wondered why there is so much emphasis on marijuana when alcohol abuse is a far more serious issue in crimes and fatalities.
But I am only one person with his own ideology of what is right and wrong. So rather than get on a soapbox and preach to you about the evils of alcohol and the blessings of Mother Nature's cannabis, I offer you the following instead. I trust you will read it and make up your own mind about what truth you hold and what truth you will take with you afterward.
Marijuana Is Safer

The REAL REASON For The Bailout (Hint: FOREIGNERS)
If Americans don't start paying attention to what is really going on behind those closed doors of President Obama's Democratic Party government, we may need to learn a new national anthem as we are being sold down the river by those we trusted to protect us.

Wall St. Welfare: Courtesy of Senator Dodd
The following is reprinted from Downsize DC and you can send free e-faxes from its site to your representatives in DC. I use it all the time, as they articulate the message well, and it saves time.
Senate Banking Chairman Chris Dodd has quite a track record protecting Wall Street's Big Boys at your expense.
* Dodd authored the Bailout bill of 2008
* Then he secretly inserted the AIG bonus loophole into the Stimulus bill of 2009
And Dodd's not done yet! His financial "reform" bill creates a $50 billion fund. If any of Wall Street's large financial firms is on the verge of collapse, the government will take it over and use the fund to pay off creditors.
Smaller companies will be shut out of the program. If they fail, they will go bankrupt and creditors will lose their money. But if a Big Boy firm fails, its creditors will be bailed out.
Potential lenders will see that the Big Boys are protected by the government. That's a HUGE and UNFAIR advantage.
We must fight this injustice! Tell Congress to oppose this bailout scheme through DownsizeDC.org's No Bailouts campaign.

Lehman Brothers went to bankruptcy court and was liquidated. That should be the fate of every poorly-run company. But Chris Dodd's financial reform bill allows struggling large firms to avoid the bankruptcy process, and creates a $50 billion fund to bail out their creditors.
Smaller firms that fail, however, will wind up in bankruptcy court and creditors will suffer huge losses.
This means potential creditors will see that there is less risk in lending to the big firms. These firms will only get bigger.
Not only is this an unfair advantage, it is unnecessary and dangerous. If big firms are failing, they should go to bankruptcy court like everyone else. As Peter Wallison and David Skeel point out, the threat of bankruptcy imposes discipline in the market. Creditors will know there are consequences in lending to weak companies. http://www.aei.org/article/101890
This bill, in contrast, will protect and even encourage many of the risky and irresponsible practices that led to the meltdown of 2008. And it will likely drive out smaller firms and make our markets less competitive.
I demand that you oppose Dodd's bill and ALL bailout programs.

Case Made Agianst Cap & Trade
According to Jeffrey A. Glassman, Phd. :
"Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is the product of oceanic respiration due to the well-known but under-appreciated solubility pump. Carbon dioxide rises out of warm ocean waters where it is added to the atmosphere. There it is mixed with residual and accidental CO2, and circulated, to be absorbed into the sink of the cold ocean waters. Next the thermohaline circulation carries the CO2-rich sea water deep into the ocean. A millennium later it appears at the surface in warm waters, saturated by lower pressure and higher temperature, to be exhausted back into the atmosphere. Throughout the past 420 millennia, comprising four interglacial periods, the Vostok record of atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration is imprinted with, and fully characterized by, the physics of the solubility of CO2 in water, along with the lag in the deep ocean circulation.
Notwithstanding that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, atmospheric carbon dioxide has neither caused nor amplified global temperature increases. Increased carbon dioxide has been an effect of global warming, not a cause. Technically, carbon dioxide is a lagging proxy for ocean temperatures. When global temperature, and along with it, ocean temperature rises, the physics of solubility causes atmospheric CO2 to increase.
If increases in carbon dioxide, or any other greenhouse gas, could have in turn raised global temperatures, the positive feedback would have been catastrophic. While the conditions for such a catastrophe were present in the Vostok record from natural causes, the runaway event did not occur. Carbon dioxide does not accumulate in the atmosphere."

Now I am NOT a rocket scientist, but I can read between the lies (err I mean lines) and see that there is nothing that a cap and trade bill will do to benefit the environment.
Cap and trade will create a new commodity to be traded on the market, which will make lots of profits for those that can afford to by carbon credits, and create business and personal bankruptcies for those of us that cannot afford to play the markets. The average cost to a homeowner will be about $6,038 annually, with nothing in return. In fact, when you want to sell your property, you will have to obtain an inspection and certification from the EPA which will indicate to prospective buyers that your home meets the stringent EPA standards. This will cost another few hundred dollars provided that the EPA does not find any "violations" which will of course haveto be corrected before yo can sell your house.
More and more of our personal freedom and rights to privacy are being eroded by a President and Congress that has not only lost touch with the people, but have abandoned the U. S. Constitution in its entirety for the express purpose of enslaving the citizens. There can be no other justification for this blatant abuse of power in public office.
