The Debt Debate: Lack of Integrity

When commenting about the President’s lack of integrity I am often called racist. It seems that criticizing Barack Obama is not politically correct.  If you don’t believe me, just ask any Democrat. He is still blaming George Bush for the mess we are in now. But his own words betray him and bear witness to his lack of honesty. In his own words:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that "the buck stops here." Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better".

So here we are in 2011with a President Obama that refuses to allow a bill to pass that does not include massive increases in the debt. And regardless of the media spin to the contrary, the Tea Party Movement, as the voice of Americans regardless of party affiliations, will not compromise on what needs to be done.

The President called on all Americans to “make sacrifices” during these tough economic times, and yet he certainly does not practice what he preaches. As a leader he has failed in every manner possible. Some in the far right have labeled Obama as a dictator, but I see him more as the mouthpiece for a “higher” authority.

Since taking office in 2009 with a Democratic majority in both houses, the debt has skyrocketed out of control. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act alone adds trillions of dollars in debt with no revenue sources stipulated to pay for it. Instead they cut benefits to Medicare and created more bloated government administration jobs to further the costs of health care and again with no sources of revenue.

Neither the President nor his party have yet to put forth a comprehensive budget plan of their own, yet they criticize the Republican Party as being the reason for failing to present them with a budget that they will accept. Regardless of the crisis we face, the President is hot on the campaign trail, scaring seniors with Medicare and Social Security not being paid, military with cut-off of pay, and it’s all the fault of those nasty Republicans.

There are a few of the GOP members that have listened to We the People, and we elected some to bring our voices back into Washington. But there remains a fiercely corrupt machine in place there that will risk default of debt rather than succumb to the will of the people.

The message we need to send to Washington in each election from this point forth is that we are no longer tolerant of business-as-usual in the Capitol, and we will “fire” those members of Congress and even the President, for failure to perform to the expectations of We the People.

Listen carefully when Republican presidential hopefuls address the people and debate. Listen to their views on Constitutional limits of federal government, the role of the Sovereign States to provide its sovereign individuals due process of Common Law as outlined in the Magna Carta and expressed in detail in founding documents such as the Articles of Confederation, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers.

When you are armed with the knowledge of what the dream was for this nation and look at who would best represent those ideals today, there is only one candidate for president that stands out among all the rest. Ron Paul is that candidate. But one sovereign individual cannot make his ideology an act of law; that must be done by Congress. So in addition to having Dr. Paul as our next President of the united States of America, we must also select candidates to represent ourselves and the sovereign States to work within the framework of the Constitution to restore the integrity of it by dismantling the structure of unlimited federal jurisdiction.
