By The People

There are fundamental flaws in how American government operates today,
contrary to the Constitution and the vision of a representative republican form of governance.
I intend doing something about it: by educating and informing others who
are not even aware of the dangers.

From Anarchy to Slavery

To most people today anarchy is synonymous with chaos, which is the complete disregard for law and order. Most of what we call anarchy today is not what our founders had in mind.

To them anarchy would have been used in contrast to monarchy, or in other words self-rule versus being ruled over. The founders idea of anarchy was self-governance (the ability to govern your own life).

It was also evident to them that the People needed to maintain control of the election process and that is why they left it up to the the People. But when the political parties formed the population lost a small amount of control of the voting process. By infiltrating the State governments with political party activists, who introduced party agenda legislation that took control of the election process from the People and gave control to the States, which in effect gave the parties control of the State governments and the election process, and therefore the Federal Government.

When you had people who were levied with unjust tariffs and/or taxes, and British soldiers who subjected the people to unjust searches and seizures of personal property (our Fourth Amendment rights), they had the absolute right to exercise civil disobedience (our First Amendment rights) against those who imposed such actions upon them. We have those rights now.

For more on civil disobedience see: http://www.civilliberties.org/sum98role.html

Throughout the history of the U.S., civil disobedience has played a significant role in many of the social reforms that we all take for granted today. Some of the most well known of these are:

1) The Boston Tea Party -- citizens of the colony of Massachusetts trespassed on a British ship and threw its cargo (tea from England) overboard, rather than be forced to pay taxes without representation to Britain. This was one of the many acts of civil disobedience leading to the War for Independence, establishing the United States of America as a sovereign state.

2) Anti-war movements have been a part of U.S. history since Thoreau went to jail for refusing to participate in the U.S. war against Mexico in 1849. More recent examples were the nationwide protests against the war in Viet Nam, U.S. involvement in Nicaragua and Central America, and the Gulf War. Actions have included refusal to pay for war, refusal to enlist in the military, occupation of draft centers, sit-ins, blockades, peace camps, and refusal to allow military recruiters on high school and college campuses.

3) The Women's Suffrage Movement lasted from 1848 until 1920, when thousands of courageous women marched in the streets, endured hunger strikes, and submitted to arrest and jail in order to gain the right to vote.

4) Abolition of slavery -- including Harriet Tubman's underground railway, giving sanctuary, and other actions which helped to end slavery.

5) The introduction of labor laws and unions. Sit-down strikes organized by the IWW, and CIO free speech confrontations led to the eradication of child labor and improved working conditions, established the 40-hour work week and improved job security and benefits.

6) The Civil Rights Movement, led by Martin Luther King, Jr. and others, included sit-ins and illegal marches which weakened segregation in the south.

7) The Anti-Nuclear Movement, stimulated by people like Karen Silkwood and the Three Mile Island nuclear power accident, organized citizens throughout the country into direct action affinity groups, with consensus decision making and Gandhian nonviolence as its core. Massive acts of civil disobedience took place at nuclear power facilities across the country, followed by worldwide protests against first-strike nuclear weapons, occupying military bases, maintaining peace camps, interfering with manufacture and transport of nuclear bombs and devices, marching, sitting in, blockading and otherwise disrupting business as usual at nuclear sites.

8) Environmental and forest demonstrations, with acts of civil disobedience such as sit-ins, blockades, tree sits and forest occupations, have emerged in the last decade, prompted by the continuing mass clear cuts and destruction of the forest ecosystem and widespread environmental consequences.

In all of these struggles, citizens had reached the conclusion that the legal means for addressing their concerns had not worked. They had tried petitioning, lobbying, writing letters, going to court, voting for candidates that represented their interests, legal protest, and still their views were ignored.

In each of these movements, the protesters were compelled by deep moral convictions. Their distress was strong enough to motivate them to go against the grain, to sacrifice personal comfort, to face unknown danger, to give up their freedom and risk going to jail. Their love of truth and justice drove them to action. Many, but not all, of those committing civil disobedience in the last two decades have been trained in Gandhian nonviolence philosophy and tactics.

Non-Cooperation is used by some protesters during civil disobedience actions. Non-cooperation may include going limp, refusal to give information at booking, fasting and refusal to participate in court proceedings.”

Please note that 'illegal street demonstrations or protests' are those that interfere with normal civil activities. Gathering peacefully, with respect to the civil liberties of the public, is not an illegal activity according to the Constitution and the natural rights of humanity.

The current federal government tyranny is far more pervasive than the Crown was in the 18th Century. Today with real-time data acquisition and analysis, and with direct access to your financial accounts and transactions, the loss of privacy in our personal affairs by government, far exceeds what our founders were willing to endure before they said, “Enough!”

U.S. citizens who relinquish their freedoms little by little become, step by step, slaves to the very government created to protect their freedoms.  At what point will U. S. Citizens say, “Enough!”?

PPACA: Smashing Success!

Every now and then, I do run across someone who gets it.  It's from one perspective and yet it does demonstrate how Americans are being fleeced of their property and liberty.

Please share and give credit to Mr. Root and to FoxNews for telling the truth!

Why ObamaCare is a fantastic success

You can read the article and watch a related video here courtesy of FoxNews.

There are two major political parties in America. I’m a member of the naïve, stupid, and cowardly one. I’m a Republican.
How stupid is the GOP? They still don’t get it.
I told them 5 years ago, 2 books ago, a national bestseller ago ("The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide"), and in hundreds of articles and commentaries, that ObamaCare was never meant to help America, or heal the sick, or lower healthcare costs, or lower the debt, or expand the economy.
The GOP needs to stop calling ObamaCare a “trainwreck.” That means it’s a mistake, or accident. That means it’s a gigantic flop, or failure. It’s NOT.
This is a brilliant, cynical, and purposeful attempt to damage the U.S. economy, kill jobs, and bring down capitalism.
It’s not a failure, it’s Obama’s grand success.
It’s not a “trainwreck,” ObamaCare is a suicide attack. He wants to hurt us, to bring us to our knees, to capitulate- so we agree under duress to accept big government.
Obama’s hero and mentor was Saul Alinsky -- a radical Marxist intent on destroying capitalism. Alinksky’s stated advice was to call the other guy “a terrorist” to hide your own intentions.
To scream that the other guy is “ruining America,” while you are the one actually plotting the destruction of America. To claim again and again…in every sentence of every speech…that you are “saving the middle class,” while you are busy wiping out the middle class.
The GOP is so stupid they can’t see it. There are no mistakes here. This is a planned purposeful attack.
The tell-tale sign isn't the disastrous start to ObamaCare. Or the devastating effect the new taxes are having on the economy. Or the death of full-time jobs. Or the overwhelming debt. Or the dramatic increases in health insurance rates. Or the 70% of doctors now thinking of retiring- bringing on a healthcare crisis of unimaginable proportions. Forget all that.
The real sign that this is a purposeful attack upon capitalism is how many Obama administration members and Democratic Congressmen are openly calling Tea Party Republicans and anyone who wants to stop ObamaCare “terrorists.”
There’s the clue. Even the clueless GOP should be able to see that.
They are calling the reasonable people…the patriots…the people who believe in the Constitution ... the people who believe exactly what the Founding Fathers believed…the people who want to take power away from corrupt politicians who have put America $17 trillion in debt…terrorists?
That’s because they are Saul Alinsky-ing the GOP. The people trying to purposely hurt America, capitalism and the middle class…are calling the patriots by a terrible name to fool, confuse and distract the public.
ObamaCare is a raving, rollicking, fantastic success. Stop calling it a failure. Here is what it was created to do. It is succeeding on all counts:
1. ObamaCare was intended to bring about the Marxist dream -- redistribution of wealth.
Rich people, small business owners, and the middle class are being robbed, so that the money can be redistributed to poor people (who vote for Democrats).
Think about it. If you’re rich or middle class, you now have to pay for your own health care costs (at much higher rates) AND 40 million other people’s costs too (through massive tax increases).
So you’re stuck paying for both bills. You are left broke. Brilliant.
2. ObamaCare was intended to wipe out the middle class and make them dependent on government.Think about it. Even Obama’s IRS predicts that health insurance for a typical American family by 2016 will be $20,000 per year. But how would middle class Americans pay that bill and have anything left for food or housing or living? People that make $40K, or $50K, or $60K can’t possibly hope to spend $20K on health insurance without becoming homeless.
Bingo. That’s how you make middle class people dependent on government. That’s how you make everyone addicted to government checks. Brilliant.
3. As a bonus, ObamaCare is intended to kill every decent paying job in the economy, creating only crummy, crappy part-time jobs. Why? Just to make sure the middle class is trapped, with no way out. Just to make sure no one has the $20,000 per year to pay for health insurance, thereby guaranteeing they become wards of the state. Brilliant.
4. ObamaCare is intended to bankrupt small business, and therefore starve donations to the GOP.Think about it. Do you know a small business owner? I know hundreds of them. Their rates are being doubled, tripled and quadrupled by ObamaCare.
Guess who writes 75% of the checks to Republican candidates and conservative causes? Small Business.
Even if a small business owner manages to survive, he or she certainly can’t write a big check to the GOP anymore. Money is the “mother’s milk” of politics. Without donations, a political party ceases to exist. Bingo.
That’s the point of ObamaCare. Obama is bankrupting his political opposition and drying up donations to the GOP. Brilliant.
5. ObamaCare is intended to make the IRS all-powerful.It adds thousands of new IRS agents. It puts the IRS in charge of overseeing 15% of the U.S. economy. The IRS has the right because of ObamaCare to snoop into every aspect of your life, to go into your bank accounts, to fine you, to frighten you, to intimidate you. And Obama and his socialist cabal have access to your deepest medical secrets.
By law your doctor has to ask your sexual history. That information is now in the hands of Obama and the IRS to blackmail GOP candidates into either not running, or supporting bigger government, or leaking the info and ruining your campaign.
Or have you forgotten the IRS harassed, intimidated and persecuted critics of Obama and conservative groups?
Now Obama hands the IRS even more power. Big Brother rules our lives. Brilliant.
6. ObamaCare is intended to unionize 15 million healthcare workers. That produces $15 billion in new union dues. That money goes to fund Democratic candidates and socialist causes -- thereby guaranteeing Obama’s friends never lose another election, and Obama’s policies keep ruining capitalism and bankrupting business owners long after he’s out of office.
Message to the GOP: This isn’t a game. This isn't tiddly-winks. This is a serious, purposeful attempt to highjack America and destroy capitalism.
This isn't a trainwreck. It's purposeful suicide.
It's not failing, it's working exactly according to plan. Obama knows what he’s doing. Stop apologizing and start fighting.
Oh and one more thing…Conservatives aren't “terrorists.” We are patriots and saviors. We represent the Constitution and the Founding Fathers. We are the heroes and good guys. Unless you get all this through your thick skulls, America is lost…forever.

The Supreme Court is Wrong

Amendment IV Article VI of the Constitution for the United States of America states:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

These rights only apply to U.S. Citizens and with modern extensions of interpretation to your vehicle.

Depending on your profession and employment, you may be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with your employer to protect confidential and proprietary company information. Within the various branches of government you may be required to undergo investigation to be assigned a security clearance and sign non-disclosure agreements and if required, to take an oath of office or service for reasons of national security. Depending on the type of service, upon Separation, debriefing and signing other instruments of agreement and restrictions may be required.

But when you are in your home, watching television, surfing the Internet, or talking on the phone, your 4th amendment rights are protected by the Constitution (unless you give them away.) Examples are numerous which outline situations under which Citizens have given up their 4th amendment rights. 'Signing up' for any home service of any kind can breach your rights.

Without probable cause of wrong-doing and the securing of a warrant with appropriate stipulation, issued according to constitutional law, anyone obtaining information by means of search or seizure about you or your habits is a violation of your constitutional rights and therefore unlawful.

Edward Snowden at the very least is in violation of his employer's NDA and at worst, is a spy and or traitor. By giving information obtained while employed by the U.S. Government or any of its extensions to any potential enemy which harms or may bring harm in current or future endeavors, he has violated his oath of office or service and as a U.S. Citizen may be a traitor.

This does not negate the unlawful planned activities or any current actions the government is perpetrating on the citizens of the United States. Looking for terrorists, or any potential enemies is not just cause to subject all American people to such violations of basic liberties.

The Supreme Court is incorrect in its current interpretation, you do have rights to privacy. If we allow the government to continue ignoring the rule of law, we have given up the Republic.

Finally I Have Been Heard!

Just a short note on why I was not online at all yesterday. I had a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge to make a final determination on my Social Security Disability claim. While I thought the whole process was a gross waste of resources and taxpayer dollars, it was satisfying to learn that according to the judge, I am entitled to disability payments as per the my work history and the level of disability according to my medical records.

I must also make it known that while I am satisfied with the outcome, I am outraged that my own primary care physician was working against me for all of these months, in spite of the facts presented to him by the orthopedic surgeon that he himself referred me to consult. It is yet another indication of how the health care industry has been corrupted by the pharmaceutical industry, preferring to keep patients on dangerous drugs rather than provide them with the proper treatments to cure illness and injury.

With all of the changes that will not only reshape how health care is administered in America but also the invasions into the personal and financial lives of all Americans thanks to the Affordable Patient Protection Act, also known as Obamacare, it is no longer a matter of personal choice to have medical treatment, it is now a government bureaucratic decision that patients will have forced upon them.
