Why John Roberts (Likely) Is Protecting Obamacare…

"On Monday, without comment (because he could not make a coherent one),  Chief Justice John Roberts denied a request by the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons and the Alliance for Natural Health USA for a stay in the implementation of Obamacare. The groups had made their application last Friday, arguing that since the bill had been declared a tax by the Supreme Court (with Justice Roberts himself the deciding vote), and it had originated in the Senate (the Constitution says revenue bills may not originate), the law was therefore unconstitutional; and implementation of Obamacare  should at least be stayed pending further examination.

While there are other minor issues attached to the application that were also not addressed, the truth of the matter is clear: John Roberts will never do anything to derail Obamacare, no matter what arguments against it are brought before him.

There is very good reason to believe that regardless of the media’s skillful smothering of the story, John Roberts is being blackmailed to make certain Obamacare never falls in a Supreme Court case. The basis of this charge surrounds the fact that a series of strange (and probably felonious) acts are attached to the adoption of his two children.

In 2005, when they thought they were doing the Democrats’ bidding, the New York Times dug into apparently easily accessible records and found that the children Roberts and his wife adopted in “South America” started life as Irish citizens. This is a red flag. The laws of Ireland regarding adoptions are very clear: adoptions by non-citizens are prohibited, as are private adoptions.

Apparently, when the Democrats realized they could control a Supreme Court Justice’s vote through blackmail over his having committed a number of international crimes, the Times pulled back and dropped its investigation. The Democrat paper of record pulled back because it didn’t want to “ break the seal of an adoption case” – as if violating laws ever means anything to Democrats in their quest for power. Keep in mind Barack Obama’s violation of his opponents’ “sealed” divorce records propelled him to a US Senate seat.

What does the Roberts problem mean for the average American who looks to Washington for relief from Democrat oppression? It means we won’t be getting any relief from the Roberts Court, period."

Another Dark Day, or Standing Horrified and Ashamed

One or both of two situations took place;  one in Illinois, and the other in the Senate of the United states of America.

It has now been established that Barry Soetoro/ AKA Barack Hussein Obama II was fraudulently elected to the Office of President of the United States of America. He has admitted publicly that he was born at the Coast Provincial Hospital in Mombasa, a British city within the Colony and Protectorate of Kenya. This fact forces his terms in office to be Null and Void. All actions taken by Barry Soetoro/AKA Barack Hussein Obama II are Null and Void. All appointed officials and their actions became Null and Void.

There is another aspect to this debacle no one seems to have mentioned and by extension thought about. This is the fact that Barry Soetoro/AKA Barack Hussein Obama II was never a senator of the United States of America. 



Qualifications:  Article I, Section 3 of the US Constitution sets three qualifications for senators: 

1) they must be at least 30 years old, 

2) they must have been citizens of the United States for at least the past nine years, and 

3) they must be inhabitants of the states they seek to represent at the time of their election. 

The age and citizenship qualifications for senators are more stringent than those for representatives. In Federalist No. 62, James Madison justified this arrangement by arguing that the "senatorial trust" called for a "greater extent of information and stability of character."

The Senate (not the judiciary) is the sole judge of a senator's qualifications. 

Given these inescapable facts for qualifying and the fact that Barry Soetoro/AKA Barack Hussein Obama II never became a Naturalized US Citizen of the United states (his claim of citizenship by birth has been proven false and since the completion of Naturalization never took place and if it had taken place, would have disqualified him from being elected President:  id est Natural Born Citizen). It is also an established fact that his father was never a US Citizen which closes the last path to being a US Citizen.

The Esteemed Reader can reason that given these inescapable facts, Barry Soetoro/AKA Barack Hussein Obama II is NOT a US Citizen of any type or kind. The outcome of this series of facts and chain of reasoning is simple.

Barry Soetoro/AKA Barack Hussein Obama II was NEVER a US Senator and all actions taken as a Senator, while perpetrating this segment of the fraud, are Null and Void.

The damage this fugitive convicted criminal has perpetrated can be placed at the feet of the US Senate. The Negligence and Incompetence of this body of Professional Politicians can be recorded as the darkest days in American History. Their failure to carry out their sworn duty has in both cases, as qualifying Barry Soetoro/AKA Barack Hussein Obama II as a Senator and then as President is criminal;  considering the unconstitutional acts he has written as Executive Orders which Congress failed to challenge and as orders he has given as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces which has resulted in hundreds of thousands of people being killed.

Personally, I am horrified and ashamed for our Senate's inaction and our country's actions.

Obama Not Legally Eligible to Be President: the Final Word

Once again, the storm clouds of disbelief and discontent have formed above Washington D.C. and over the Headquarters of the Democratic National Committee. The esteemed Fix America readers were familiar with various eligibility issues as reported in past posts. (Please See: Post List Below) 




The DNC party talking points covering all imaginable deflections from their culpable part (sufficiently responsible for criminal acts or negligence to be at fault and liable for the conduct) in this ongoing fraud against the American people, at best, are without merit and at the worst constitute conspiracy to commit fraud in addition to any violations of election rules and regulations and any violations of U.S.C. laws, rules, and regulations, etc. 

It is now legally clear that Soetoro/Obama has admitted;  He was born in Kenya, he is a Kenya “natural born” citizen, his foreign birth was registered in the State of Hawaii, his father, Barrack Hussein Obama, Sr. admitted paternity of him, his mother gave birth to him in Mombasa, Kenya, his mother’s maiden name is Stanley Ann Dunham a/k/a Ann Dunham, that the COLB [Certification of Live Birth] posted on the website “Fightthesmears.com” is a forgery, he was adopted by a Foreign Citizen, he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro, M.A. a citizen of Indonesia, he was not born in Hawaii, he was not born at the Queens Medical Center in Hawaii, he was not born at Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Hawaii, he was not born in any Hospital in Hawaii, he is a citizen of Indonesia, he never took the “Oath of Allegiance” to regain his U.S. Citizenship status, he is not a “natural born” United States citizen, his date of birth is August 4, 1961, he traveled to Pakistan in 1981 with his Pakistani friends, that in 1981, he went to Indonesia on his way to Pakistan, (Pakistan was a no travel zone in 1981 for American Citizens)(during 1981, Pakistan was not allowing American Citizens to enter their country) he traveled on his Indonesian Passport to Pakistan, he renewed his Indonesian Passport on his way to Pakistan, his senior campaign staff is aware he is not a “natural born” United States Citizen, that he is proud of his Kenya heritage, that his relatives have requested changes to the portion of his birth certificate that identifies his first name, that his relatives have requested changes to the portion of his birth certificate that identifies his last name, that his relatives have requested changes to the portion of his birth certificate that identifies his place of birth, that he requested changes to the portion of his birth certificate that identifies his first name, that he requested changes to the portion of his birth certificate that identifies his last name,that he requested changes to the portion of his birth certificate that identifies his place of birth, that the document identified as his Indonesian School record from Fransiskus Assisi School in Jakarta, Indonesia is genuine, that he went to a Judge in Hawaii to have his name changed, that he went to a Senator and/or Congressman or other public official in Hawaii to have his name changed, that he had a passport issued to himself from the Government of Indonesia, (The United States Constitution does not allow for a Person to hold the office of President of the United States unless that person is a “natural born” United States citizen), he is ineligible pursuant to the United States Constitution to serve as President and/or Vice President of the United States, he never renounced his citizenship as it relates to his citizenship to the country of Indonesia, he never renounced his citizenship as it relates to his citizenship to the country of Kenya, he is an Attorney who specializes in Constitutional Law, that Kenya was a part of the British Colonies at the time of his birth, that Kenya did not become its own Republic until 1963, he is not a “Naturalized” United States Citizen, that he obtained $200 Million dollars in campaign funds by fraudulent means, he cannot produce a “vault” (original) long version of a birth certificate showing his birth in Hawaii, his “vault” (original) long version birth certificate shows his birth in Kenya,  that the only times he was to a Hospital in Hawaii was for check-ups or medical treatments for illnesses, that Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii does not have any record of his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham (Obama) giving birth to him, that Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu, Hawaii does not have any record of his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham (Obama) giving birth to him, he was born in the Coast Province Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya, he represented on his State Bar application in Illinois that he never used any other name other than Barack Hussein Obama, he went by the name Barry Soetoro in Indonesia, his Indonesian school records are under the name of Barry Soetoro, he took an Oath to uphold the United States Constitution when admitted to the State Bar of Illinois to practice Law, he took an Oath to uphold the United States Constitution when he was Sworn into his United States Senate Office, he holds dual citizenship with at least one other Country besides the United States of America, and he has admitted to other statements of fact that implicate him and his followers in many ways un-American and against various Articles of the Constitution of the United States. What, if anything, has he had to say about any or all of his admissions?

"The API on March 9, 2012, has reported that since March 6, 2012, they have been in possession of the certificate and a letter of authority from the Office of Registration of the Coast Provincial Hospital verifying its genuine nature. Whether or not the veracity of the API is questioned, the indisputable probity the document presents itself is all that matters, which has yet to be confirmed by any U.S authority or party interested in this issue. What can be said without question is there are too many of these certificates with conflicting facts, and that alone is much more than sufficient to warrant a true and honest congressional investigation.

After the true facts are determined, and if a fraud is determined to have been perpetrated against the U.S. Constitution and the people of our nation, it should be obvious that all the people that participated in this conspiracy to place an ineligible person into office, be identified and placed in custody without bail until they can be charged with as many charges as can be filed. That also includes holding all decisions made by the Supreme Court of The United States null and void since his illegal appointment of any Justice, since he has no legitimate authority to have done so.

What, if anything, has the DNC had to say about any or all of his admissions or their part in this fraud to gain control of the United States of America in order to move Forward the Changes wanted by the American Communist Party and its' extensions?

"We did nothing wrong. It's not important, it doesn't matter, he was elected."

Now that Obama/Soetoro has his private army (think DHS, TSA, and foreign troops on American soil) and the Concentration Camps for dissenting Citizens (think F.E.M.A. Camps) and enough 10 mm hollow point ammunition to kill every Citizen 10 times over, more than 2,700 Urban Warfare Vehicles marked, POLICE/RESCUE, without Congress and the Armed Forces of the United States, it will be very difficult and costly (think not of money) to re-establish our government and the proscribed methods of governance under the Constitution of the United States.

Our Government Has Been Busy

Before and during the coming economic collapse, a state of National Emergency will be declared by the person occupying the White House. This will be followed by the announcement of Martial Law. Considering the current events which are in direct alignment with documented plans for totalitarian one-world government, (white paper plans published by the Tri-Lateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, and Club of Rome), martial law will be imposed without official dissent of Congress, because upon declaration of National Emergency, Congress is dissolved. This takes place because of Executive orders that fall under the general heading or classification of 'Continuity of Government' that have been issued by various presidents since the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower. Martial law is military rule imposed by force upon civilian populations in a time of war or during a (supposed) “State of Emergency”.
The following conditions of rule can be expected to occur once the privately owned major media T.V. news anchors tell the people not to panic, but that a State of Emergency has been declared due to the collapse, and a (supposed) temporary state of martial law has been declared, which will be (supposedly) rescinded once the State of Emergency has passed. 

What the news people won’t tell you is that given the history of martial law, the suspension of such draconian methods for Totalitarian Rule are far more difficult to achieve than the original imposition. Another bit of information the privately owned major media has failed to inform the Citizens of the United States is the real amounts that have been spent since the (supposed) War on Terrorism began, approximately $130,000,000,000,000.00 [trillion dollars]. As far as the economic collapse is concerned, the total indebtedness of the United States is some where near $150,000,000,000,000,000.00 [quadrillion dollars]. An amount that can NOT BE REPAID:  the U.S. can not even afford the interest payments. THERE WILL BE NO RECOVERY UNDER THE CURRENT FISCAL SYSTEM.

Esteemed Fix America reader, ask yourself a simple question, why would a dictator or group of dictators (see the NDRP for the ten or so regions the U.S will be ruled under) ever voluntarily relinquish their dictatorial powers?  I have searched through the history of the world and found that force has been the only effective method for removal. Whenever the “Powers That Be” decide to impose martial law, the following items can be expected:





1. CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS ARE ENDED - Under martial law, the U.S. Constitution is suspended and the citizens immediately lose all the protections, safeguards, and human rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Citizens also lose all rights and privileges guaranteed under The Bill of Rights. The Dissolution of the Constitution is replaced by a combination of F.E.M.A. Powers, Department of Homeland Security Powers, NDAA Laws, and NDRP Provisions.

2. CURFEW ENFORCEMENT - Anyone caught outside after curfew can be shot dead. There are no exceptions for personal emergencies unless of course, these people have some sort of official written permission or are in possession of other material which gives them a “Get Out Of Jail Free” card.

3. WRIT OF HABEUS CORPUS SUSPENDED - This means that soldiers (think DHS, TSA, U.S. ARMED FORCES) can enter your house, or arrest you on the street without warrants for any reason stated, and can direct you to F.E.M.A. Camps for processing without explanation or access to legal counsel. They can hold you there for months, even years, since there are no time limits imposed on how long you can be imprisoned.

4. PERSONAL FIREARMS WILL BE SEIZED-  Armed Forces can enter your home and force you to surrender any weapons you have, without regard to your constitutional right or need to bear arms for your self-defense. If you refuse, you can be shot dead in your living room for resisting or non-compliance, and all your possessions seized. If you’re lucky, you might just get Tasered, or butt-ended with an M-16 or AK-47, to eventually wake up in a Federal Emergency Management Agency (F.E.M.A.) Detention Center with an Identification Number which you will go by as a “name” instead of your old name, the one on your birth certificate.

5. PERSONAL PROPERTY CAN BE SEIZED - This means that under the excuse of “requisitioning”, Armed Forces can remove you from your home by force, and seize both your home, and its contents, as well as any vehicles, or other items you have on your grounds. They also can claim the actual real estate of the acreage as well. If you refuse or resist in some way well….I guess you can fill in the blanks or use your imagination.

The following list of Executive Orders covers all the above and more and have already been made law by current and past U.S. presidents. They become effective immediately upon declaration of a national State of Emergency or Martial Law:

Executive Order 10995: 

All communications media will be taken over by federal authority: radio, television, websites, newspapers, even CB and Ham radio systems. Freedom of expression, otherwise known as the First Amendment will be canceled. 

Executive Order 10997: 

All fossil fuels, related substances as well as all electrical power, both corporate as well as privately owned devices and generators will be seized by the federal government.

Executive Order 10998: 

All food, means to produce such food and related products and machinery, warehouses and collectives which obviously include corporate and private farms will be seized by the government. You will not be allowed to hoard food since this is regulated. If you are caught hoarding food, you can be shot dead, or perhaps you will be lucky enough to be Tasered, and sent to a F.E.M.A. camp and be immediately classified as a “domestic terrorist”, otherwise known as an “Enemy of the State”.

Executive Order 10999: 

All modes of transportation will be placed under complete government control. Any vehicle can be seized.

Executive Order 11000: 

All civilians will be drafted into forced labor without compensation which the T.V.. anchors will euphemistically call “volunteer labor” at a variety of designated work places under federal supervision. Watch old film reels of the slave labor at Nazi prison camps, or if you prefer, go watch Cool Hand Luke, to get the more modern updated “American flavor” of what it’s like to be part of a slave labor chain gang. Please remember, you must always remember, that if you go against the Boss, you will be accused of “A Failure To Communicate, Cooperate, Follow Directions, etc.” followed by punishment or death.

Executive Order 11490: 

Absolute dictatorial “presidential” control will be exercised over all US citizens, business as well as church institutions during a State of Emergency where martial law is declared necessary.

Executive Order 12919: 

At the direction of the president, allows various Cabinet officials to take over all aspects of the US economy during a State of National Emergency.

Executive Order 13010: 

This Executive Order allows F.E.M.A. to take control over all other government agencies.

Executive Order 12656: 

“ASSIGNMENT OF EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS RESPONSIBILITIES -

This order allows for the declaration of a State of Emergency during natural disaster, military attack, technological emergency, or other emergencies that seriously threaten the national security of the United States. This order allows for total, unquestioned federal takeover of all local police enforcement agencies, as well as local price fixing and wages. It also forbids reassignment of personal financial assets within or outside of the United States.

The plans were written under President Ronald Reagan and are public information. Look up REX 84, (a readiness exercise?  for what eventuality) and depending on how well you look, you will find its Sub-operations; Operation Power Geyser (think Executive Order), Operation Cable Splicer (think federalization of all policing agencies and federalization of all civil administration), Operation Chaos (think of all the things our government has done to wreck the economy, poison the air, land, and water) Operation Granite Shadow (think NORTHCOM), Operation Night Train (think 1,000 + boxcars with shackles reportedly stored in the Northwest), Operation Garden Plot (think burial tubs and giant ovens next to railroad spurs), and related operations (think Operation Paperclip, Operation Mockingbird, Operation Artichoke, Operation MKDELTA, Operation MKULTRA, Operation MKBluebird, Operation MKMonarch, Operation MKNAOMI and other Operations or Projects (think U.S. Army's Project X, Project Chatter, Transhumans, the list is endless and its all public information.

Most people just hope to be able to pay their bills and get by, and enjoy what little time they have left. They do not want to read all this information. They do not want to be informed before they cast their vote. They do not want to think. They want to vote the way they were trained, Democrat or Republican, and it has gotten us where? These transition operations have been or already are being achieved as you read by Executive Orders which bypassed the U.S. Congress.

The police state is almost in place, the surveillance systems are being installed everywhere. DHS has purchased enough hollow point close-quarters ammunition to kill every American 10 times over, has purchased more than 2,700 Armored vehicles that are bullet proof from .50 cal. down, has purchased 7,000 full auto M 16, purchased 30,000 modern guillotines reportedly Stored at Fort Lewis, has purchased 1,000,000 + plastic burial tubs which can hold three bodies, and more interesting purchases. The Department of Homeland Security has hired and is still hiring guards for FEMA Camps and they carry machine-guns..

NDAA-National Defense Authorization Act- 

The most controversial provisions to receive wide attention were contained in Title X, Subtitle D, entitled "Counter-Terrorism." In particular, sub-sections 1021 and 1022, which deal with detention of persons the government suspects of involvement in what the government defines as being "terrorism". The controversy was to their legal meaning and potential implications for abuse of Presidential authority. Although the White House and Senate sponsors maintain that the Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) already grants presidential authority for indefinite detention, the Act states that Congress "affirms" this authority and makes specific provisions as to the exercise of that authority. The detention provisions of the Act have received critical attention by, among others, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Bill of Rights Defense Committee, and some media sources which are concerned about the scope of the President's authority, including contentions that those whom they claim may be held indefinitely without charge or trial could include U.S. citizens arrested on American soil, including arrests by members of the Armed Forces.The bill passed the House 283 to 136 and signed by Barack Obama on New Years Eve 2011, while the rest of us were distracted celebrating the New Year festivities.

NDRP-National Defense Resources Preparedness- Executive Order

The NDRP exploits the “authority” granted to the President in the Defense Production Act of 1950 in order to assert that virtually every means of human survival is now available for confiscation and control by the President via his and his Secretaries’ whim. It basically says that the Government can take what it wants from anyone by any means if it is necessary for national security. Please guess just who defines 'necessary for national security'.

If you thought it could never happen here, think again, think again, think again, think again... 

Wake someone up and suggest that this article should be read, then wait until it is read.

With no personal will or identity of our own, we will eventually (after just a few generations) not know or have personal memory of what we've lost, because history will have been rewritten.

A Boy Wants to be King!

Looking back over the last five years or so, I see a nation that trusts a child with the highest office in the land. I see a child who for all intent and purpose, is so wrapped up in himself that he really believes he can do anything he wants without question or consequence. The scary thing is, he has the most powerful weapons on the planet at his fingertips.

The United States of America is unique in its creation and the proper functions of the government and the People. The participation of the People was made inherent in the fact that the Constitution itself is a contract, between us and the government that is assembled as a result of that contract. 

What I see now is a nation that seems paralyzed by their own ignorance of facts, holding on to an illusion that electing Barack Hussein Obama was to show the world we have emerged into the sphere of humanity and we are truly no longer a racist nation. In the meantime we have a self-centered child leading us into one crisis after another, and he has no clue as to how to fix any of them. He has surrounded himself with childhood playmates who also possess the same delusions of grandeur and who are equally clueless as to what it will take to fix the problems we face. And they seek to destroy all who have the audacity to oppose their dangerous policies.

I do have a plan that will restore integrity and sanity to this once great country. We the People will not elect the candidates that the two major parties nominate. No, we will vet candidates who by the way they live their own lives, demonstrate they are aligned with true patriotism and constitutional law. And with their representation in all levels of government, we will repeal all the laws enacted that are clearly violations of constitution limits. We will reduce spending and taxes so that businesses can become profitable and the taxes on their profits will be enough to sustain a trim national government. Those taxes will be reduced when we have a lean federal government.

It will mean that most Americans will have to take action themselves. It will mean that we cannot just allow someone we elect the trust that they will serve our best interests, unless we perform due diligence and hold them accountable from the start. And when they complete their terms of service, they will return to their previous businesses and jobs, knowing they performed a service to their community, state and/or nation. That it how it was designed to be, without career politicians living off of the tax payers to whom they were elected to serve.

In the coming days and weeks, it is apparent that our narcissistic Commander-in-Chief must be held accountable for his actions, or more precisely, his lack of action when it was required to save American lives. He must be held accountable for dereliction of duty in not taking immediate steps to defend Ambassador Stevens and his staff. And most of all, those who we have elected to office, who swore oaths to defend and protect the Constitution, must impeach this childish President and all those who have been supporting him in deceiving the American people with behavior that is criminal in their implications and deadly in their results. Don't just assume that there are those in Congress who will do the right thing. Demand it!

This, That, and Another Thing

Having recently moved into a new place, I haven't really had time to even thing about what to write. So I thought I would simply catch up on what has been happening in current events since I also purchased a new TV to go with the high speed internet service and the HD cable package.

First, Secretary of Defense nominee Charles Hagel's confirmation is not going well. And with just cause as I explained in my recent post Chuck Chuck: No Defensive Senator for Defense Secretary and with his past remarks regarding Israel, he certainly needs to be withdrawn of the nomination.

Chris Dorner certainly had his fifteen minutes of fame. Now, is he dead or alive in Mexico somewhere? Nobody's talking. A recent post that I came across on Facebook indicates that it is a fish smelling story about how his identification managed to survive the inferno that leveled the mountain cabin he allegedly was holed up in. Seems like a Hollywood screenwriter was paid handsomely for that yarn. Just another media spin at the behest of the government to make the glazed-eyed masses believe the Second Article of Amendment to the Constitution for the united States of America somehow needs to be exclusive of certain types of arms.

Obama's State of the Union was more a campaign thump than an indication that he is serious about getting this nation back on the right track. Global warming is not our most pressing crisis. And being upstaged by Dr. Benjamin Carson did nothing to bruise the ego of the man occupying the Oval Office. Obama seems totally detached from what needs to be done and yet his personal agenda remains against every principle of a representative republic, and a strong reflection of his blatant narcissism.

John Kerry as Secretary of State is a step to the side if not a slide backwards from Hillary Clinton. With the Benghazi attacks still unaccounted for by the State Department and the President's seeming lack of interest when the murders were taking place, does nothing to instill any sense of confidence or safety in most Americans abroad.

Oh, and fuel prices are as high as there were last summer and it's not even March!

Chuck Chuck: No Defensive Senator for Defense Secretary

Why a Presidential appointee for Secretary of Defense shows up for a confirmation hearing so totally unprepared and clueless, bumbling, mumbling, and stumbling over simple yes/no answers is beyond me. If this is the choice of the President, Obama is truly doing what he can to destroy our defenses.

A Commander-in-Chief that has control of the most formidable weapons one the planet, must have a Defense Secretary that is competent in military and political strategies when dealing with the types of enemies that we have created.

Charles "Chuck" Hagel is obviously not the choice that I would make. Actually, I would like to see someone like Ron Paul in that spot. A true statesman that has military background and knowledge that would surely be a positive in our national defense interests. Unless the goal is not to strengthen but to weaken our defenses.

So let me see if got this right: The government wants to take our personal defenses away, while they are arming the IRS and other Homeland Security agents with "assault' military weapons using hollow point ammunition that is prohibited by international laws or treaties, design for maximum kill capacity. And they want the People by proxy of their Senators, to confirm a man who has little clue about any defense beyond covering his own hind quarters when caught in a lie or just plain demonstrably wrong about an issue.

While all the economy goes to hell in a hand basket,our elected representatives are looking out for our best interests by putting a self important member of the Republican Party up for confirmation by the Democratic-controlled Senate, showing the public that the liberals are willing to "reach across the aisle" and select a member of the "opposition" for a cabinet position. If anyone watched the badgering he got from members of his own party, it seems obvious that he is not the Republican choice for the position.

In all the time he was being questioned, it seemed that he was lost, unable to think quickly or clearly enough to even seem credible. Not the person that I would want between the President and the military. I can't imagine how he was elected as a Senator by a majority. The other choice must have been really bad!
