Restore America to the Constitutional federal republic representing the will of We the People!

There are fundamental flaws in how American government operates today,
contrary to the Constitution and the vision of a representative republican form of governance.
I intend doing something about it: by educating and informing others who
are not even aware of the dangers.

Where Do We Go From Here?
Since 2008 I have been writing articles and sharing articles from other authors with the Esteemed Readers of Fix America. Over those years I have also shared these posts on forums and within comments of news articles, published by the privately-owned major media and other media outlets of lesser fame.
Most of what I see, hear, and read today is a far cry from news correspondence of a free and impartial press. Instead we are bombarded with the analysis and commentary of others, who, have no more right to voice their opinions than anyone else. The problem is, that what we expect to be unadulterated reporting of current events is instead spin and propaganda, not news, based on the particular ideology of the publisher or their political handlers and their sponsors.
Over the span of the past six or so years, Fix American has informed and educated the Esteemed Readers with facts, and while my opinions and those of other authors are offered, the facts are presented in whole without embellishment.
In an attempt to stifle the views of opposition, Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) has so much as said that anyone with a cellphone and blog does not constitute a reporter, and she wants to stop anyone without 'proper credentials' from reporting news. In other words, if you don't plan on reporting what the government approves, you will be silenced. So now approval by the government is prerequisite for someone to obtain a press pass or even to work for the media as a reporter.
It is by the consent of the governed that governments exists in the first place. It is We the People who created a constitutional representative republican form of self-governance, by which the People and the States remain sovereign and the federal system of governance is the servant and not the master. When did that change, 1871? You will find most of the answers in the posts that Fix America has published. What you will not find is how and why it happened. For that answer you will have to look for future articles.
If the People are to be free to live their lives as they so choose, they must be willing to do whatever it takes to defend that freedom. To enjoy the fruits of one's labor, to own property, to be safe in their lands and homes, these are what we must all defend for ourselves as individuals, and collectively as communities. We must also be willing to defend our State if need arises to do so.
It is apparent that we can no longer trust those who we elect, members of the corporate UNITED STATES, to protect our rights and secure our borders. It is therefore incumbent upon We the People to defend ourselves and our neighbors from this attack on our unalienable rights.
Without digressing into the intricate details that led to the revolt against Great Britain, it is obvious that the collective reasons were enough to risk everything to gain sovereignty and be free of servitude.
Our rights have been taken and replaced with privileges, granted by the corporate UNITED STATES. Our freedoms are no longer a foregone conclusion as more and more infringements by militarized law enforcement agencies disregard even basic individual rights all over the nation. While focus is held to one or two incidents that are used as propaganda by the privately-owned major media to reinforce the justification for more laws that take away more individual rights, police forces are treating the People as enemies of the STATE and use deadly force against the most benign of our fellow citizens.
What can we do? How much abuse will We the People tolerate before taking action?
Where do we go from here?

A Voice From The Past: General Smedley Butler Speaks Outstandingly
By 1933 corporate America was firmly established in the UNITED STATES of America, corporate ideology had already begun to supplant the ideals of free market commerce and trade (capitalism). This should be keep in mind as you read General Butler's comments regarding corporate racketeering.
"War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.
I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we'll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns 6 percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. Then the flag follows the dollar and the soldiers follow the flag.
I wouldn't go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.
There isn't a trick in the racketeering bag that the military gang is blind to. It has its "finger men" to point out enemies, its "muscle men" to destroy enemies, its "brain men" to plan war preparations, and a "Big Boss" Super-Nationalistic-Capitalism.
It may seem odd for me, a military man to adopt such a comparison. Truthfulness compels me to. I spent thirty- three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country's most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle- man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.
I suspected I was just part of a racket at the time. Now I am sure of it. Like all the members of the military profession, I never had a thought of my own until I left the service. My mental faculties remained in suspended animation while I obeyed the orders of higher-ups. This is typical with everyone in the military service.
I helped make Mexico, especially Tampico, safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street. The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912 (where have I heard that name before?). I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. In China I helped to see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested.
During those years, I had, as the boys in the back room would say, a swell racket. Looking back on it, I feel that I could have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents."

Meanwhile, Back on The Ranch
This rant is true, accurate, and
poignant. It
hits the
proverbial nail on the head. There are of course other additional
concerns and mitigating or amplifying concerns which have already
happened in our Nation's past and earlier, which are
best left for other posts. One of the major problems
has been one of corporate person-hood, as covered in the post, 'Hook
Line and Sinker: The Plans Are Revealed Part 2" and
another is the stranglehold Corporations have on a corrupt Congress
and the all too accommodating U.S.Government.
"Here's
Your Black Budget, produced by SaveTheChildrenUK.
As
their slogan says, "Just because it isn't happening
here - doesn't mean it isn't happening somewhere." Because it
definitely IS.
Moreover,
US Tax Dollars are currently subsidizing dozens of military
engagements, without the consent or the knowledge of the American
people, as I write this.
Nobody
asked us if we want to meddle in the business of the poor Ukrainians
– but – we've got US agents there, doing "our" business
for "us" –
and the US has publicly
acknowledged, that they have dedicated a relatively "measly"
US$5 billion budget to underwrite our agenda in the current Ukraine
fracas.
On
the scale of US war spending, this is an infinitesimally
small sum: take the the total cost of Operation Enduring Freedom,
aka the so-called "Afghan War", which from its inception
in October 2001 to the fiscal year 2011 cost the US around $468
billion, with the estimated for the cost for the deployment of a
single US soldier in Afghanistan equaling more than US$1 million per
year.
But
all of the above this truly pales, in comparison to the US$ 6
trillion spent between 2003 and 2012 on the so-called "War in
Iraq."
Now,
that's what I call "money well spent!"
THAT's
an operation that Americans can feel really
GREAT about, as it was totally "justified",
"legal" and it was such a *smashing* success for FREEDOM!
We really ought to be proud of this "thing" that was never
even declared a war, at all.
Whatever
these two interventionist, undeclared
conflagrations should actually be
called (I'll go with "war crimes"), which are also
incidentally the longest "wars" in US History - they have
left some 639,000 US Veterans - almost an entire generation of
young Americans – PERMANENTLY DISABLED.
This
is to say nothing of the hundreds of thousands (millions?) of
innocent civilians in South Asia, who had their countries razed to
the ground and whose remaining survivors, today are living in much,
much worse conditions than they were before "we" invaded;
before whoever hijacked the USA, with the power to summon the US
Military and to systematically bankrupt this nation with their
bloated budgets - and to essentially annihilate a couple of other
countries, in the process - while also jeopardizing the entire Global
Financial situation...
How
do you like them apples, America?
Whatever
happened to my grandmother's sainted Apple Pie?
Whatever
happened to the US being the "Good Guys?"
Wait!
I almost forgot! An article in the Washington Post, based on
information given by Edward Snowden detailed how the US allocated
$52.8 billion in 2012 for the Black Budget.
So,
that SECRET OF SECRETS is no longer.
But
this paltry Black Budget doesn't touch the publicly-acknowledged,
approximate US$680 billion yearly budget allocated to the multiple
branches of the US Department of Defense, while our schools and roads
crumble. I'll leave the mystery of Obamacare fiasco out of this - as
this has already become a very long newsletter/rant!
Quite
simply, our monies have been outrageously squandered - and behind our
backs. Our very souls have been "...sold down de Ribber,"
to quote the great American 19th century Author, Mark Twain.
Instead
living in a Utopian world, which as a child, I completely assumed would
be a given by the time I was a adult, with all the technological developments, which would free everyone to be an artist or
philosopher - and that all children in the future would receive a
powerful, valuable education, such that they'd have the capacity and
true knowledge of deep history, geopolitics, all the sciences and
technologies - to truly enable everyone to be of service and live up
to the "promise of America".
But
no - the US Government's priorities have, instead been geared toward
the creation of a super-redundant Police State; domestic military
divisions which are quite obviously set up to wage war on our own
people - and the highest incarceration rate of any other country in
the world.
We
saw glimpses of this last year in Watertown, MA; where a phalanx of
body-armored cops driving urban assault vehicles, busted down the
doors of everyone in that neighborhood, without warrants of any kind,
with the excuse that they were looking for a 19 year old kid.
This
was clearly a test, to see what they could get away with; the
soft-launch of 21st Century Fascism, American-style!
The
hijacked US Government has prioritized the desecration of our Legal
Canons: the US Constitution and Bill of Rights, in favor of
SmartBombs, SmartPhones ("All the better to track you with, My
Pretty!") - and with the crappy educational system, has
encouraged the creation of a large population, dumb vapid people.
All
of the above is an excellent formula for America's assured failure in
an emerging world, that has VERY different priorities from those of
the Cold War; an entity, which seems to be desperately seeking to
rear its ugly head, since the demons behind the efforts to launch
World War Three are continuously failing.
May
their WW3 efforts continue to fail - forever!
Especially
since there are clearly enough nuclear "accidents" already
in the works and some 150+ nuke plants in the US today, which are
virtual replicas of that of Fukushima Daiichi - and similarly creaky
with age.
If
some kind of unforeseeable Gamma Ray Burst or a large meteor impact -
or even a medium-sized EMP blast were to occur - then, we'd be
dealing with literally 100s of Fukushimas, at the same time.
Meanwhile,
TONS of aerosolized depleted uranium nano-dust blows around, from US
wars of aggression in the Middle East, which have for a decade been
getting swept by the winds to every corner of the Northern
Hemisphere, where it appears that a slow program of genocide/ecoside
is puttering along - and like the tortoise, it will unrelentingly
arrive at the finish line.
So,
as Tax Time approaches, please think about how the sweat of your brow
is being used and see if you can schedule-in 10 minutes here and
there, to let your alleged government representatives know how you
feel about the way our Tax Dollars are being allocated.
Please
think about how the Sweat of Your Brow is Being Used and let your
alleged Government Representatives know How You Feel about the way
our ill-gotten Tax Dollars are Being Allocated."

CORPORATE
FASCISM: The Destruction of America's Middle Class
"A
new kind of fascism has taken over America: the merger of
corporations and government whereby
corporate power dominates. With the emergence of ever-larger
multinational corporations – due to
consolidation facilitated by the Federal Reserve's endless
FIAT money -- the corporatocracy has
been in a position to literally purchase the U.S. Congress.

A
result of the corporate purchase of Congress is that many of the
nation's "laws" have been re-configured to benefit
WE THE CORPORATIONS, rather than WE THE PEOPLE. "Laws" like
NAFTA and GATT resulted in the outsourcing of the U.S. manufacturing
base and the destruction of the Middle Class. This is nothing less

Happy New Year?
I have been concerned about an issue to present to my Esteemed Fix America Readers for this first post for 2014. I'm still not certain that I have a clear picture of what lies ahead. I know of all the possibilities but I'm not sure that the American People have what it takes to stop what is happening.
Regardless of how others feel, I do feel that America is exceptional, or at least it was exceptional until the Constitution was set aside for issues of education, social services, welfare, national security, and what the government now deems is its duty to protect the public from themselves.
Let's start with the myth that we have 'leaders' in government. Since they no longer have proper education in the government standardized public school systems, I offer to my Esteemed Readers a short lesson in Civics.
Those elected to office by the People, are public servants, not leaders. They have a duty and responsibility to meet with their constituents in regard to their concerns and convey the will of the People to their respective legislative bodies.
Next we have the myth about capitalism and free-markets. Contrary to popular belief, free-markets are not synonymous with capitalism. Capitalism is a term that comes from the investment business. Free-markets apply to businesses that produce a product to sell or provide a service at a fee. They invest themselves in their artistry, craftsmanship, and energy and ask a price that will be beneficial (a living wage) to themselves and of value to their customers.
Finally, I would like to mention currency to placate a myth that currency is the same no matter what type is used. Prior to the Federal Reserve Act, paper money was a representation of worth in gold or silver. Coins were copper, nickel, silver, and gold. As per the constitutional requirement, Congress set the standard for currency based on the worth of gold and the other metals. In other words, a U.S. Dollar had a fixed value based on the gold in the U.S. Vaults (Fort Knox) that gave that dollar its worth.
The Federal Reserve Dollar or more precisely Federal Reserve Note is not money, it is debt. It has no inherent worth whatsoever, in fact because of its over-circulation and the national debt, it is worth less than the value of a real copper penny. Today's coins are sandwiched alloys with very little value.
End of lesson and beginning of commentary!
It is by the consent of the governed that a government is created and sustained. When the government no longer serves the will of the People it not only is the right of the People, but it is the duty of the People to force that government to perform correctly.
The People may write a resolution which they then convey to their elected representatives for sponsorship in their respective legislative bodies. A resolution may be a new law, a modification of a current law, or a nullification of an unconstitutional act or law.
Our Constitution provides us with the means to compel the government to perform as intended without the necessity for an armed rebellion. Of course we can elect representatives that will follow the wishes of their constituents.
There is also another a constitutional provision long ignored by modern jurisprudence. What recourse do the People possess when the prosecutors refuse to call a Grand Jury to indict criminal activity by an elected representative? Citizen Grand Jury is the answer! I've written about this before in the post titled Fixing Government: Grand Jury Presentments.
Little by little, the People of the colonies began losing their rights to their wealth and property. Taxation was unjustly levied, and their wealth and property was at the disposable of the King's whim. The People began to protest. First it was by civil disobedience and finally when armed troops came into their towns and into their homes, taking whatever they wanted in the name of the King, the People had taken enough!
When the founders of this great nation realized that all they had worked for, their wealth and properties, was deemed the possessions of the Crown, that they had less rights than their fellow subjects in Great Britain, they chose to be free men and women and so they revolted.
It was not easy and it cost many of them their lives. But for them it was far better to die fighting for their freedom than to die in servitude to a tyrannical government. The choices made by my fellow Americans over the course of this year, will determine whether their children will know freedom or only hear of it whispered, by the few who remain who had experienced it once for themselves.

Power to the People!
There are plenty of reasons to highlight this invention whether you believe the carbon tax (global warming) proponents or not. Seems that Ms. Eesha Khare of Saratoga, CA has invented a power storage device that can recharge a cellphone in seconds. According to NBC News's John Roach, Ms. Khare won the Intel Foundation Young Scientist Award (a $50K prize) for her nano-technology-based device that can be charged in seconds, pack more energy than comparable rechargeable battery and last (10,000 recharge cycles vs. 1,000) much longer than conventional rechargeable batteries.
I'm sure battery makers are just thrilled at the thought of such competition. That is, unless one of them is smart enough to license the technology and maybe even improve on it for making specialty batteries, like those that would be required to make electric transportation viable to replace internal combustion engines.
Having been involved with presentations of technology that is deemed 'disruptive' because it poses such a negative impact on monopolistic corporations, who also have very strong lobbying power at the state and federal level, I can assure you that your iPhone will not be charging up any faster anytime soon.

Principles, Not Ideology
What have we become as a nation? Our country was founded upon principles. Even though there were no prohibitions to slavery, drugs, guns, or rock and roll, there were always principles that led most people to do the right thing.
Slavery was not practiced by all, and it was the founding principles that did not interfere with the choice that people made regarding it. Just as we can choose not to patronize corporate brands who employ low wage workers in foreign lands, the free market system will always prevail to bring the best ethics from the providers of goods and services so long as the consumer is ethical also.
We are losing our liberty as we decline in wealth. We are declining as a nation as we lose our ethics and morals. And yet those who we elect to represent us have sold themselves to unethical special interests and corporations that place profits above the ethics and the law. Our representatives have legislated in favor of these corrupt corporations, elevating their rights above that of the individual.
The President and the liberal left do not possess a monopoly on legislation that is contrary to the principles of constitutional government. Many on the right have supported legislation that is anything but constitutional. The Patriot Act and NDAA are two such examples. The rights of the individual are now secondary to the perceived belief that we are safer with these laws.
The safest people are those who have the means to protect themselves, for they are the ones that the criminals fear and will avoid confronting. Car-jackers will think twice when enough media reports display would-be-victims taking responsibility for their own safety and use personal arms to protect themselves from these predators.
Lately I have heard arguments against gun bans from the so-called conservative party, that claims that federal weapons bans on such things as nuclear weapons and armored tanks are the only types of restrictions that can be permissible. I disagree.
If you have the wealth to purchase an Abrams Tank or a cruise missile, you have the right to do so. The 2nd Amendment does not give you the right to bear and keep arms, that is written for the purpose of explicitly putting the federal government on notice that they cannot infringe on the right of the People to protect themselves. Just because the government is given the responsibility to protect all the States and all the People from enemies crossing our border and coming in from the seas, does not exclude the People or the States from protecting themselves. The first part of that Second Article of Amendment makes it clear that the States have explicit right to form their own militias, made up of the well armed and trained residents of the State.
All those laws that have been written since the Constitution was ratified, that clearly violate the limitations of the federal government and or restrict or prohibit the People from exercising their own rights, are not valid as law. We do not need the Supreme Court to offer an interpretation of the Constitution in order for the Constitution to be upheld.
It is with certainty that the complexity of law which is U.S. Code and Uniform Commerce Code, far exceed the constitutional limits on the federal government. Simply put, it is not for the majority of Americans to learn those complex laws, rather learn the Constitution and stick to it. Allow no exceptions in law that bends or breaks the purpose of the Constitution regardless of how socially expedient and necessary it may seem.
More laws do nothing to end the problem. Perhaps the punishment for breaking the law needs to be addressed. Starting with the 535 criminals who hold the entire country in slavery from their mahogany-paneled offices built with the taxes they stole from the States and the People.

Sheep of Fools!
We all laugh at stupidity when it is at someone else's expense. But what about stupidity when it has a lasting effect on your own life? Will you still laugh?
Are you laughing at how stupid this whole sequestration issue is? I am. The Obama Regime spins doom and gloom will certainly befall us if we don't spend more money that we don't have. Instead of simply admitting that he was wrong, the man in the White House wants us to believe that Republicans are to blame this crisis of budget befallen us.
To accentuate the stupidity, the Department of Immigration and Naturalization is releasing prisoners who are illegal aliens, claiming that sequestration is to blame. The stupidity in this is evident to anyone who can breathe on their own. The so-called sequestration only applies to less that 3% of the expansion of spending this Administration sought from the last round of spending increases that gave us a higher debt and the lowest credit rating than any other time in our nation's history.
Why don't they tell a few of our so-called allies that this year's charity will have to be cut so the government can pay for the services it promised the American People? No, they would rather scare the public into thinking that spending more money and giving up more rights is how it must be handled.
Yet, we can send aid to our enemies in the form of planes and tanks, give aid to nations that don't like us, give more aid to the enemies of our allies than we do to our friends, and Congress leads us to buy this snake oil as necessary for maintaining goodwill and peace.
Anyone with a brain can understand that the best way to make 'friends' with other nations is through good commerce and trade. That is the type of monetary relationship that both nations profit from so long as there is trust and good product to maintain that profit. Dr. Ron Paul earns credit for bringing this simple principle -that was understood so well by our founders- to the fore in his campaign for the Presidency, and both parties ignored his message.
Rome fell because those who did not earn a wage began to outnumber those who did. They voted themselves 'entitlements' on the taxes collected from those who earned to the point where those who earned could no longer maintain the nation's spending.
Proof that the epitome of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expect different results. These same fools whom we all elected, are leading the sheep to slaughter and most Americans are dancing down the path to the butcher!

Third World: The US in 2030
| Stephen Swintek/Getty Images |
I feel that most Americans are too trusting of the government and the propaganda they are bombarded with by the privately-owned major media. Most Americans still believe that the media represents some truth in journalism standards that will keep what the government tells us as being truth. it seems obvious that nothing can be further from the truth.
We live in a world that is becoming more totalitarian every day. keeping people in fear of wars and terrorism has created a generation of people who fear that only the government can save them from certain death. The people of America are terrorized more by the so-called Transportation Safety Administration than they have been by any terrorists.
Government mandates, regulations, and taxes have driven farmers into bankruptcy or out of business before they faced bankruptcy and/or foreclosure. Many have sold out to corporate food producers like ADM, Burlington, or Monsanto, who have replaced healthy and naturally grown foods with genetically modified organisms that been banned in some nations because of their detrimental effects to the health of the consuming public.
It would seem logical that these mutant strains will eventually be incapable of supporting life, and hence the predictions of the Global Trend 2030 document may become reality. There is a solution.
We must stop the proliferation of these GMO foods. Legislation alone will not do it. We need to support the local farmers who use heirloom seeds and grow their crops without modern chemical fertilizers. These chemical are also contributing to decline of potable water.
Desalination using sun and wind power sources like Israel does, will provide the necessary potable water for drinking and irrigation. Most importantly is to reduce dependence on government and free the markets to grow once more.
Don't expect the government to capitulate to the people when they have demonstrated their disregard for the well-being of the people and embrace the corporate lobby. Demanding a return to constitutional limitations of the government will only work when the States protect and support their own residents against the tyrannical federal government.

Our Enemy Is The State! Part I
Our Enemy the State, published in 1935, Albert Jay Nock could not have any idea that liberty would have deteriorated to such an extent as it has in the present.
The responsibilities given to government will decrease the power of the People in proportion. It is inevitable that when people seek to become dependent on government, the government will take on those dependencies at a very high price: your liberties will erode until you have only privileges instead of rights.
Just imagine if local communities took responsibility for building roads. This task while seemingly complex, can be accomplished through cooperation with other communities more efficiently than relying on government. And local contractors hiring local workers would benefit, thereby stimulating local economic growth and prosperity.
Even when errors are made in engineering, it would be much simpler to remedy a few miles rather hundreds of miles of government mistakes. Not to mention the fact that government would use most of the funding to pay for studies and that which is left would not be sufficient to build anything.
Today we are faced with a runaway government that wants to restrict all freedom and only allow certain privileges to the People. The rewards will be rationing of the basic necessities of life rather than the freedom to choose what an individual considers his or her necessities.
"This is the gravest danger that today threatens civilization: State intervention, the absorption of all spontaneous social effort by the State; that is to say, of spontaneous historical action, which in the long-run sustains, nourishes and impels human destinies."
Jose Ortega y Gasset, 1922
In each installment of this series I will address each area that was once a choice and now has become a regulated privilege or mandatory program of government. I encourage readers to comment and offer their own experience and insights into the problems we face and the solutions to restore liberty to the republic.

They Can Not Say Anything More
"Against whom is President Barack Obama running in November?
Mitt Romney has just one brief, silent cameo in the Obama campaign's new seven-minute ad. The presumptive Republican nominee gets about as much screen time as former President George W. Bush and less than tea party demonstrators or top congressional Republican leaders like House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
"Instead of working together to lift America up, Republicans were waging a campaign to tear the president down," the narrator intones, as conservative firebrands Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity appear in archival footage. Then comes Romney's big moment: More than three minutes into the video, we finally get a glimpse of a photograph of him standing at what appears to be a Republican presidential debate with Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
The video, entitled "Forward," hits home the fact that Obama inherited an historic recession. A downturn that former Federal Reserve chief Alan Greenspan describes in a news clip as a "once-in-a-century type of event." Bush is seen but not heard discussing the collapse, which the ad says resulted in the loss of 4,400,000 jobs by the time Obama took office in January 2009.
Cue footage of tea party demonstrators, some holding "Don't Tread On Me" flags, while the ad's male narrator declares that "some said America's best days were behind us." By contrast, "Obama moved quickly to push his economic stimulus" highlights the video. It shows a Bureau of Labor Statistics figure that the economy created 4.1 million new jobs between March 2010 and March 2012.
The ad touts Obama's legislative victories, including his health care law and the rewrite of rules for Wall Street "to make sure they never again wreck our economy." And, yes, it trumpets the killings of Anwar al-Awlaki—a U.S. citizen targeted for assassination in a drone strike in Yemen, and Osama bin Laden.
The campaign did not explicitly label "Forward" as its new slogan, but that didn't stop some in the media from doing so—and pointing out that it resembles MSNBC's "Lean Forward." (But perhaps it's an homage to Wisconsin's state motto, "Forward," or to the Jewish Daily Forward, or to an ad campaign by Washington, D.C.'s, problem-plagued public transportation agency?) Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt shot back on Twitter: "Funny that some in media think most people follow cable news slogans as closely as they do. Also apparently off limits: 'trust' 'fair' 'vote.'"
In a press release, the Obama campaign describes the video as "an important grassroots organizing tool" and says that it will be played when the president and first lady Michelle Obama hold rallies together in Ohio and Virginia next Saturday.
By Olivier Knox"
The Obama (Kill Order) makes it perfectly clear that Romney never has been an issue or a problem of any kind... whatsoever, which is why the Knox article names anyone but the candidate that has explained the solutions to the problems our nation faces. That candidate has now been declared the winner of the Iowa Caucus fiasco, after the RNC tried to rig the election for their favorite son, Willard Mittington Romney.
The candidate that has explained the solutions to the problems our nation faces for a good long portion of being voted into office for 35 years is Dr. Ron Paul. His words and actions remain the same and as true as the first day he took office: he believes in the Constitution for the United States of America.

Your Choice Should Be America
Whenever some well-meaning person questions my convictions, I usually make time to explain why I believe as I do.
When the English Monarchy and the Church were both exercising control over empires, nations, and individuals' thoughts, there came to be an increasing number of people that felt they had lost what little control over their own lives they had managed to gain. These people decided, in one way or another, it was time to take control of their own lives and they came from many parts of the old world to settle in the new world. However, because the old world continued to exercise, what the new world settlers felt unfair and confining, control in various forms, they decided to begin a Great Experiment to be free.
The aftermath of the conflict between the old and new world was the establishment of The Perpetual Union (which is no longer in effect) and the later United States Of America. The important ideas, ideals, and concepts were composed and written down as two founding documents the Declaration of Independence and The Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union (A.C.P.U. which is no longer in effect) and the later Constitution of the United States of America. These two sole sources of intents and purposes define America and American Citizens. If, by letter or spirit, either one or both are under attack, by inaction in defense of, or by action to corrupt letter or spirit of, the very way of life in America becomes threatened.
Why do Americans pick between Democrats and Republicans? Why do we patronize the privately-owned major media who regards Americans as having so little intellect that they have to tell us what the candidates stand for and which ones are important? Are we so engrossed in that kind of authoritarian nonsense that we have to rely on others to make choices for us? The "fair and balanced" claim by one network is betrayed by their bias for party favorites to the detriment of any others that may challenge typical Washington politics. All of the major media ignores candidates from any other party, and have even ridiculed one of the most outstanding statesman of our time.
Why do we tolerate public employees who were elected to serve the nation by presenting the best American ideals and addressing the most important issues facing our country and providing solutions to attain those goals, but instead did otherwise? The interests of American Citizens; home and hearth, financial soundness, and personal rights and freedoms are the concerns of all. These important ideas and issues are held as important concepts, as well as many others, within the Constitution. That document and our country largely have been ignored, by the party favorites and only recently have they even mentioned the very real problems we face. It is only obvious that Romney, Santorum, and Gingrich have changed the tune they hum. Instead of their usual stance, pompously prancing about proclaiming themselves our leaders while taking advantage of anything they can, they are now on uncertain ground and are now parroting the only candidate that has said the same things for thirty years. Romney, Santorum, and Gingrich have never been our "leaders" at best they were our representative employees!
It doesn't require a genius intellect to know that neither party has provided a difference in identifying problems nor finding approaches to solutions that have beneficial results, except to grow government in ways that were never intended. What they have provided over the past three or four decades, regardless of their supposed liberal or conservative policies, is an expansion of government in every direction; controlling through legislation, mandates, regulations, taxation, and executive orders has been the result. So far the solutions offered by big government thinking is more jobs in government (most of which are temporary) and borrowing money to fund what they cannot do by increasing taxation. The economic stimulus has been to guarantee enormous loans to companies with poor management and business models that have failed at the taxpayer's expense. Solyndra, Evergreen Solar, M F Global - J P Morgan are all examples.
The generalized root beliefs of today's current American Democratic philosophy are those dangerously close to, if not, socialism. Any of the various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, or a system of society or group living in which there is no private property and in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state, which is a stage of society in Marxist theory that is transitional between capitalism and communism and is distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done are not American in concept or ideals.
The generalized root beliefs of today's current American Republican philosophy are those dangerously close to, if not, Fascism. The political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and which stands for a centralized autocratic government or dictatorial control which is effected by policies or practices of, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition are not American in concept or ideals.
And still the voters select from these same two diseased pools of philosophically political sociopaths.
The generalized root method of enacting today's current American Business philosophy are those of Corporatism. The organization of a society into industrial and professional corporations serving as organs of political representation and exercising control over persons and activities within their jurisdiction. This concept was borrowed from the business practices of the English Crown and is not American in either concept or ideal.
The generalized root beliefs of today's current American Business philosophy are those of Capitalism. The economic system characterized by private or partner ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market is the mainstay in America.
It seems clear that "conservative" Republicans want to save us from the "liberal" Democrats and the "liberal" Democrats want to save us from the "conservative" Republicans. In the end, both parties seek to dismantle freedom and constitutional government in order to accomplish their own agendas. They only differ in style; in substance they are twins. While fiercely opposing each other, both parties seek but one thing: unbridled power and control.
As things stand now, we do not need to fear al Qaeda, Iran, or North Korea as urgently as we need to fear the abuse of power from within our own government. There is no question that we have the military power and strength to fight off any foreign enemy. The bigger question is, do we have the moral strength and ethical power to fight off those within our own country who would strip us of our freedoms? How we answer that question will determine our destiny.
It's our choice: we can continue to vote for candidates that are members of the two major party philosophies, or we can vote for candidates, regardless of party affiliation, who will represent the best interests of America and its Citizens. That does not automatically disqualify a candidate from a major party, it does mean that it is the responsibility of the voter to vet the candidates to determine the ones who have demonstrated their honesty, integrity, and eligibility that have honored their oaths of office to uphold and defend the Constitution (if they have been in office), and who have a record of performance that demonstrates they have made those hard decisions.
It should be obvious I will never vote for Romney, Santorum, or Gingrich to be my employee to hold any public office. I carefully looked at their morals, ethics, qualifications, and their voting records. Instead, and because of a thirty year length record of voting for American ideals and concepts, I am voting for Dr. Ron Paul.

Another One Bites The Dust
Strange how things are turning out. John Huntsman drops out and endorses Mitt Romney, and now Rick Perry hangs up his spurs and offers his reins to Newt Gingrich! All that campaign rhetoric about "Washington Insiders" and Perry endorses the one with the most questionable honesty and integrity? I can almost hear the music starting and stopping and starting and stopping. It almost seems as if the Party favorites are all acting out in a never ending play of musical chairs designed to distract the American Citizen from choosing the only real candidate who actually believes in America.
Wake Up America! Your Rights are disappearing!
Now, verified official reports revised vote totals Thursday that give party favorite, Santorum a 34-vote edge over party favorite, Romney, which reverses the eight-vote advantage held before the state completed certifying the results of the Jan. 3 caucuses with missing truckloads of votes in addition to known misreporting of precinct counts, affidavits of election fraud added to not knowing what the true count is and no way of ever determining anything: the Republican Party in Iowa has declared party favorite, Santorum, the winner and another favorite, Romney, with another party favorite, Perry, gaining or losing votes.
Wake Up America! Your Constitution is Almost Gone!
A truely stupid display of who they think is important considering it is based on and tallied from missing truckloads of uncounted votes. The Elementary School children of Iowa could have been more professional, but they don't have a hidden agenda to ignore and make sure the only candidate U.S. Solders and Americans at home respect isn't acknowledged, is too radical and can't win...because the Republican Party rigged the election rules at the last minute before voting, because for the first time in Iowa they decide to move the ballots around in a giant shell game, because the Republican Party and their multimillionaire lying dishonest party favorites can hardly wait to get into office and change nothing.
Wake Up America! Smell the Coffee, While You are Still Able!
The same old bailouts for friends and Corporations, the same old policies that will begin a new war, the same old practices that force more U.S. Businesses to bankrupt then close and be liquidated. More Citizens out of work, more inflation due to the ever failing economy and monetary system, more dishonest sleazy politicians making millions while in office. Wavy dark hair and perfect teeth in smiles as practiced as the sunset: they remind me of a small school of large sharks circling each other...just waiting to take the first bite!
Wake Up America! Before You have No Choice!
I personally do not think that Romney can beat (Obama?) heads up in a fair contest. Gingrich might have a better chance but then when I think about what America would be like with another lying cheating multimillionaire in the White House, it makes me shudder and start looking for another choice that is not a party favorite. I turned to who the military is supporting.
Wake Up America! Before the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave Is a Fading Memory!
Almost three quarters of the active duty military, those that have to do the fighting, more than all other candidates and (Obama?) combined together, support Dr. Ron Paul. And yet, we here at home hear the never ending beat of the war drums, and that Ron Paul would be detrimental to the military and our national defense. When I heard the people's booing Romney or Gingrich echoing in the past when they spoke about the military and the "Iran Threat" or they were "Bad Americans," I realized why Ron Paul wasn't among the GOP favorites. Those that are against Dr. Paul are the ones that sent our young people into harms way and really want to start yet another war. These Warmongers are the ones that ridicule and ostracize Ron Paul.
Wake Up America! Before Your Freedom is Gone!
It makes me sad to admit, I do not have all that much confidence in voters that are so easily swayed by one party or another into voting for any candidate that supports undeclared preemptive unilateral war. With more and more of our freedoms being usurped in the name of national security, I see America rapidly declining into a fascist nation run completely by corporations wielding the most powerful weapons on the planet and that it frightening.
Wake Up America! Before It Is Too Late!

So... You Want Which Fox to Guard the Hen House?
Let's examine some facts which makes up the totality of Mitt Romney's business experience.
Bain & Company was established in 1973 by a group of seven former partners from the Boston Consulting Group headed by Bill Bain. The company was headquartered in Lexington, MA on Militia Drive. Under Bain’s direction, the firm implemented a number of unconventional practices in its early years. Notably, Bain & Co. would only work with one client per industry to avoid potential conflicts of interest. Partners did not carry business cards and clients were referred to by code names, further demonstrating its reputation for enforcing client confidentiality. The company preferred to work behind closed boardroom doors rather than marketing itself.
The firm’s founding was followed by a period of growth in the late 1970s and early 1980s as the firm opened offices in London, Munich, San Francisco, and Tokyo.
An innovative consulting approach that Bain & Co. pioneered was aligning its incentives with its clients’ performance by accepting equity in lieu of fixed fees. It sometimes landed clients by offering several weeks of work at no cost until the clients stock market value demonstrated an increase in stock price relative to the Dow Jones Industrial Average. An estimated 10% of Bain's revenue is derived from this equity participation or "success fees." As an example, Bain took an ownership stake in fruit processor Del Monte Foods while working to revamp the company’s strategy.
"Coming into a leveraged buyout situation is never easy," says Del Monte CEO Richard Wolford." Bain's desire to obtain equity in the client's business was the engine behind Bain's interest in the business.
Bain & Co. found itself facing a growing list of challenges in the 1980s. In the midst of sluggish business conditions and over staffing, Bain also faced the dilemma of having to turn away business due to its one-client-per-industry restriction. Competition increased as other firms copied Bain’s implementation-focused strategy. Daunting though these external challenges were, it was internal infighting among the senior partnership that threatened to destroy the business. In response, Bain & Company, Inc. was formally incorporated in 1985 as Bain Capital Inc. and, over the course of two years, the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) was established. Bain's senior partners began borrowing against the ESOP equity for cash, leaving the firm with a heavy debt load and employees with a stock plan that might have been nothing more than a fable. As business slowed, this debt load began to have a real effect on the firm. Bain ultimately found itself in non-compliance with the Bank of New England's loan covenants. The resulting debt write-off at the Bank of New England eventually resulted in that bank's failure in 1991.
Facing financial duress, Bain & Company, Inc. partner Mitt Romney was asked to rejoin Bain Capital, Inc. as interim CEO. Bringing along two lieutenants from Bain & Co., Romney began a traveling campaign to rally employees at all Bain offices globally. Romney led a cadre of attorneys that eventually negotiated a complex settlement between the Bain partnership and the firm's lenders, including a $10 million reduction in the $38 million Bain owed the Bank of New England, which by that time had been seized by the FDIC and placed in Chapter 7 liquidation. The Boston Globe pointed out that: “Over several weeks, Romney's team managed negotiations with the banks and among the partners. The moment came when negotiations produced a package in which Bill Bain and the founding partners would give up control of the firm, turning back $30 million they had taken from the ESOP and $100 million in notes they held against the firm.”
The Romney Team plan involved "a complicated restructuring of the firm’s stock-ownership plan, real-estate holdings, bank loans, and money still owed to partners". To avoid the financial crisis that a buyout would have triggered, the group of founding partners agreed to return about $100M cash and forgive outstanding debt. Bain Capital has come a long way since the hostile takeovers it was known for when Mitt Romney was CEO.
Today it reports about $655 billion in assets, including such industry giants as Toys R US, Clear Channel Communications, (parent company of Rush Limbaugh's EIB network, and the radio shows of Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity, Dunkin Brands (Dunkin Donuts), Burlington, Warner Music Group, and the Weather Channel. Bain Capital also owns another company that for some reason is not listed on the Bain Capital website: EDGAR Online.
From an article forwarded to me:
"Bain Capital said that it had purchased Edgar Online for $12 million with the stipulation of the right to name two of the Board Members of Edgar Online, a publicly traded data services company that helps businesses prepare regulatory filings in a new format that will be mandatory by 2012... Edgar Online's main offering is helping companies to prepare filings for the Securities and Exchange Commission in a computer format known as XBRL, which is used for the S.E.C.'s Edgar tool. It also offers data analysis products for regulatory filings."
The question is why did Bain buy Edgar Online? Does the phrase "prepare filings" catch in the throat?
"EDGAR, the Electronic Data-Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system, performs automated collection, validation, indexing, acceptance, and forwarding of submissions by companies and others who are required by law to file forms with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC"). The database is freely available to the public via the Internet (Web or FTP)." Approximately 3,000 company filings are made with EDGAR each and every day. In fact, if you wish to search for company filings on the Securities and Exchange Commission's website, you will be redirected to the EDGAR database.
So, Mitt Romney's Bain Capital has the ability see and then monitor every company's SEC Filing information even before the SEC sees it. Before anyone else can see them, Bain sees the filings. That is what is known as a competitive advantage. It is also known as Trading on Insider Information if Bain Capital is perusing these financial filings and using them to decide what to buy and sell within its portfolio.
According to SEC Guidelines:
"The SEC adopted new Rules 10b5-1 and 10b5-2 to resolve two insider trading issues where the courts have disagreed. Rule 10b5-1 provides that a person trades on the basis of material nonpublic information if a trader is "aware" of the material nonpublic information when making the purchase or sale. The rule also sets forth several affirmative defenses or exceptions to liability. The rule permits persons to trade in certain specified circumstances where it is clear that the information they are aware of is not a factor in the decision to trade, such as pursuant to a pre-existing plan, contract, or instruction that was made in good faith.
Rule 10b5-2 clarifies how the misappropriation theory applies to certain non-business relationships. This rule provides that a person receiving confidential information under circumstances specified in the rule would owe a duty of trust or confidence and thus could be liable under the misappropriation theory." (SEC.gov)
In what could be viewed as a huge advantage over the average investor, this scandal would make the movie "Wall Street" look like "Sesame Street". An investigation of Bain Capital's internal documents by any enforcement agency, including the SEC or Congress, could make Michael Milken look like a boy scout.
"Milken was indicted on 98 counts of racketeering and securities fraud in 1989 as the result of an insider trading investigation. After a plea bargain, he plead guilty to six securities and reporting violations but was never convicted of racketeering or insider trading. Milken was sentenced to ten years in prison and permanently barred from the securities industry by the Securities and Exchange Commission. After the presiding judge reduced his sentence for cooperating with testimony against his former colleagues and good behavior, he was released after less than two years. Milken could only wish that he had access to every company's financial reports and SEC filings before anyone else knew about them.
An investigative report by ABC revealed that Republican Presidential Primary candidate Mitt Romney, has avoided paying his fair share of taxes by keeping his money in off-shore accounts in the Cayman Islands and elsewhere. Is it any wonder that he continues to refuse to release his income tax records as is the tradition of those running for the Executive Office of this nation?
Evoking FOIA exemption 7(a), the FBI denied access regarding Bain Capital records held by the F.B.I. on the grounds that such information was currently part of an ongoing criminal investigation: The letter, viewable on Scribd.com, has had the name of the person requesting information redacted, as well as the date it was written. The top of the letter reads “Subject: Bain Capital” The relevant paragraph in the letter, signed by the FBI’s David Hardy, Records/Information Dissemination Section Chief, reads in part, “I have determined that the records responsive to your request are law enforcement records; that there is a pending or prospective law enforcement proceeding relevant to these responsive records; and that the release of the information contained in these responsive records could reasonably be expected to interfere with the enforcement proceedings.” In fact, the only time the Bureau is allowed to deny such a request is during an active investigation in which acknowledgment of responsive records would compromise it.
This should be front-page news but the privately owned major media seems to have missed the importance of this issue. With Wall Street and Congress so corrupt that the average stock investor doesn't have a chance of making anything on their investments, this is an ethical and moral outrage. Is it any wonder why Mitt Romney's company, Bain Capital, from which he continues to receive significant compensation from, reports the New York Times, is under the scrutiny of the FBI?
So...Let me see if I understand this correctly, New Hampshire and Iowa want Romney to control the purse strings of this nation? You might as well have the Fox guarding the Hen House! Or maybe..., a Wolf to guard the Sheep!
