This rant is true, accurate, and poignant. It hits the proverbial nail on the head. There are of course other additional concerns and mitigating or amplifying concerns which have already happened in our Nation's past and earlier, which are best left for other posts. One of the major problems has been one of corporate person-hood, as covered in the post, 'Hook Line and Sinker: The Plans Are Revealed Part 2" and another is the stranglehold Corporations have on a corrupt Congress and the all too accommodating U.S.Government.

As their slogan says, "Just because it isn't happening here - doesn't mean it isn't happening somewhere." Because it definitely IS.

Moreover, US Tax Dollars are currently subsidizing dozens of military engagements, without the consent or the knowledge of the American people, as I write this.

Nobody asked us if we want to meddle in the business of the poor Ukrainians – but – we've got US agents there, doing "our" business for "us" – and the US has publicly acknowledged, that they have dedicated a relatively "measly" US$5 billion budget to underwrite our agenda in the current Ukraine fracas.

On the scale of US war spending, this is an infinitesimally small sum: take the the total cost of Operation Enduring Freedom, aka the so-called "Afghan War", which from its inception in October 2001 to the fiscal year 2011 cost the US around $468 billion, with the estimated for the cost for the deployment of a single US soldier in Afghanistan equaling more than US$1 million per year.

But all of the above this truly pales, in comparison to the US$ 6 trillion spent between 2003 and 2012 on the so-called "War in Iraq."

Now, that's what I call "money well spent!"

THAT's an operation that Americans can feel really GREAT about, as it was totally "justified", "legal" and it was such a *smashing* success for FREEDOM! We really ought to be proud of this "thing" that was never even declared a war, at all.

Whatever these two interventionist, undeclared conflagrations should actually be called (I'll go with "war crimes"), which are also incidentally the longest "wars" in US History - they have left some 639,000 US Veterans - almost an entire generation of young Americans – PERMANENTLY DISABLED.

This is to say nothing of the hundreds of thousands (millions?) of innocent civilians in South Asia, who had their countries razed to the ground and whose remaining survivors, today are living in much, much worse conditions than they were before "we" invaded; before whoever hijacked the USA, with the power to summon the US Military and to systematically bankrupt this nation with their bloated budgets - and to essentially annihilate a couple of other countries, in the process - while also jeopardizing the entire Global Financial situation...

How do you like them apples, America?

Wait! I almost forgot! An article in the Washington Post, based on information given by Edward Snowden detailed how the US allocated $52.8 billion in 2012 for the Black Budget.

So, that SECRET OF SECRETS is no longer.

But this paltry Black Budget doesn't touch the publicly-acknowledged, approximate US$680 billion yearly budget allocated to the multiple branches of the US Department of Defense, while our schools and roads crumble. I'll leave the mystery of Obamacare fiasco out of this - as this has already become a very long newsletter/rant!

Quite simply, our monies have been outrageously squandered - and behind our backs. Our very souls have been "...sold down de Ribber," to quote the great American 19th century Author, Mark Twain.

Instead living in a Utopian world, which as a child, I completely assumed would be a given by the time I was a adult, with all the technological developments, which would free everyone to be an artist or philosopher - and that all children in the future would receive a powerful, valuable education, such that they'd have the capacity and true knowledge of deep history, geopolitics, all the sciences and technologies - to truly enable everyone to be of service and live up to the "promise of America".

But no - the US Government's priorities have, instead been geared toward the creation of a super-redundant Police State; domestic military divisions which are quite obviously set up to wage war on our own people - and the highest incarceration rate of any other country in the world.

We saw glimpses of this last year in Watertown, MA; where a phalanx of body-armored cops driving urban assault vehicles, busted down the doors of everyone in that neighborhood, without warrants of any kind, with the excuse that they were looking for a 19 year old kid.

This was clearly a test, to see what they could get away with; the soft-launch of 21st Century Fascism, American-style!

The hijacked US Government has prioritized the desecration of our Legal Canons: the US Constitution and Bill of Rights, in favor of SmartBombs, SmartPhones ("All the better to track you with, My Pretty!") - and with the crappy educational system, has encouraged the creation of a large population, dumb vapid people.

All of the above is an excellent formula for America's assured failure in an emerging world, that has VERY different priorities from those of the Cold War; an entity, which seems to be desperately seeking to rear its ugly head, since the demons behind the efforts to launch World War Three are continuously failing.

May their WW3 efforts continue to fail - forever!

Especially since there are clearly enough nuclear "accidents" already in the works and some 150+ nuke plants in the US today, which are virtual replicas of that of Fukushima Daiichi - and similarly creaky with age.

If some kind of unforeseeable Gamma Ray Burst or a large meteor impact - or even a medium-sized EMP blast were to occur - then, we'd be dealing with literally 100s of Fukushimas, at the same time.

Meanwhile, TONS of aerosolized depleted uranium nano-dust blows around, from US wars of aggression in the Middle East, which have for a decade been getting swept by the winds to every corner of the Northern Hemisphere, where it appears that a slow program of genocide/ecoside is puttering along - and like the tortoise, it will unrelentingly arrive at the finish line.

So, as Tax Time approaches, please think about how the sweat of your brow is being used and see if you can schedule-in 10 minutes here and there, to let your alleged government representatives know how you feel about the way our Tax Dollars are being allocated.

Immigration and Border Control

The way I see it, the immigration 'problem' can be handled quite simply and it will save tax dollars.

First, you must remove the incentives that attract foreigners from coming into the U.S. illegally. You do that by removing ALL federal benefits for education, food, health care, and shelter. If you arrive here from anywhere else with proper documentation, you are free to come to America to find a job or start a business. Or if you have promise of employment a work visa may be obtained expeditiously when proper background checks are made to both the employer's and the government's satisfaction regarding that clean record in one's background. That person will pay taxes at a rate slightly higher than a U.S. citizen since a job here means that an American is not employed.

Next, you must seal the border. With joint cooperation between the state and federal governments, a plan that serves the best interests and capabilities of each border can be implemented. If funding is required to build fences or walls, depending on the necessity of the local terrain, it can be found in the savings from ending funding to foreign nations, starting with the ones that are most hostile toward the United States. Troops can be redeployed from around the world to provide temporary security until the border crossings are in place and the entire length is secure in the manner that serves the requirements of the local terrain. No additional taxes or borrowing will be necessary to fund the endeavor.

These fine members of our armed services will no doubt make excellent law enforcement officers if they so desire, in both state and local governments, protecting their family, friends, and community.In fact, they still will be serving to protect the nation as deputy sheriffs and police officers. A secure border is not about keeping illegal immigrants out, rather it deters foreign enemies from coming to the United States as spies and saboteurs. They can now cross the border as easily as a good man seeking work and liberty for himself and his family.

Many politicians will try to convince us that we cannot forget that many of these illegal and undocumented workers must have a path to legal status and citizenship. Well they do! If they are here illegally, the path will lead back to their country of origin. There they will make application just as so many other foreigners have and do. We cannot reward them for breaking the law by moving them ahead of those who are waiting in line with legal application documentation.They broke the law so they get deported. When Americans break laws they go to prison so I don't see a problem here.

Many will also tell us that children who were born or brought here guiltless victims if their parents are deported. Really? And how about all the homeless American citizens with children that can benefit from the aid given to foreigners illegal or legal? How can you possibly justify so many Americans in need when foreigners are given so much?

Simply a case of a shortage of common sense and logic when the government is put in charge of solving a problem that they (the government) created in the first place!

Homelessness in America

About 11 years ago, I became homeless when my wife had medical issues that were not being properly treated by her doctors. Bipolar disorder forced me to seek temporary shelter until such a time as my wife emotional state was stabilized. That took over one year of medications and therapy.

I am now homeless again, due to my inability to perform the work required by the employers I have contacted and interviewed with. I am still seeking work but have not had any success at all. Shall I blame the economy or the government? No, the fault lies with all Americans.

The problems of homelessness are issues that affect many both directly and indirectly. Your tax dollars that are used to house criminals are now being used to release prisoners onto the streets or into homeless shelters. This puts additional strain on  the resources that these shelters provide.

I am awaiting a disability hearing next month, and will gladly find a small place when I start receiving benefits. My physical and mental health have been in decline since I have arrived here. Conditions here will never improve to the point that I will feel comfortable in this environment. Now with the announcement that 35 additional inmates will be released into the general population, beds here at the shelter will become scarce.

Fortunately, I do have a bed on a first floor because my condition and surgeon's orders keep me from climbing stairs. I also take the ramps and elevators in public buildings because of the pain associated with lifting my legs and placing bearing weight on them.

For a man that has been so physically active most of my life, this is really a strong blow to me emotionally.  I fight depression on a daily basis, and force myself to do some exercise of my arms and upper body to compensate somewhat for my lack of leg mobility. I have not taken any pain medications yet, but lately it has occurred to me to do so, because it is becoming stressful and keeping me from getting a good night's rest.

I do notice that there is a difference in being homeless now than there was over a decade ago. Perhaps it is due to the depressed economy, but donations are down and hence less is available to those in need. Of course there is some federal government services available, but they are restricted to women with children and families. Here in Oregon, basic medical services are being rationed by lottery. If you are a single male, getting dental and/or vision care is not likely.

I have not had my vision checked in over 15 years and I am also in need of dental work. Unless I get approved for Social Security Disability, I will be stuck in the same place for quite some time.

But I am not sulking and feeling sorry for myself. While there are a number of men here who are quite content on being homeless, many others like myself are looking to better their positions in life and only need a bit of support to get them n their way.

Since being widowed back in 2010, my physical health has deteriorated along with my emotional well being. That has not stopped me from being positive and looking for a few hours work when it is available.  It is my physical condition that prevents me from doing much of the work that I am most qualified to perform.

With all of the promises made by Congress and the President regarding the Affordable Patient Protection Act, none of those promises have had any positive impact in the health care of anyone that I have met and spoken to. I do encourage others to speak out as I do and not let the majority of the public think that everything is okay. It's not!

Perhaps a change in administration will have a positive affect. But so long as the government keeps spending more and more in being the world's police force and offering aid to nations who don't even like us, we will remain in dire straits.

Blessings and thanks to those who read my blog and have made some small donations to support me in what I am doing. I trust that when I do get my benefits, I will be able to do the same for others. There are always those worse off than I am so I will always be charitable, even while I am in need myself. It just seems like the right thing to do.

If Things Were Right: Like a Phoenix Rising From The Ashes

In the vision of our founders, demonstrated by the careful word crafting in the compositions that we now call Founding Documents, the explicit limits to federal government are plain. In all of them the rights to all were equal, not that all are equal. One who works for wages, or takes up a trade or starts their own business is not equal to someone who feels those workers, trades, and businesses all must pay to support them because they are entitled. Charity is voluntary not mandatory.


Freedom is something you must both earn and pay for if you are to keep it. The rights of others cannot be infringed upon by you as you would not have your rights be infringed upon by others, without your wanting and willingness to take action to defend those rights. What right did you give to the federal government to use your tax dollars to give to foreign nations? And at what point did you feel obligated to fund "entitlement" programs for people that are not U.S. citizens or simply plain lazy Americans who use excuses instead of brains or physical dexterity to at least earn their own keep?


Somewhere in our not so distant past we began to lose our rights. Property rights, individual rights, privacy rights, and most of the Constitutional rights were deliberately and systematically taken away and there wasn't even a heated public debate to defend those rights. The right to determine where our tax dollars are spent was something that was much simpler to understand when the Constitution limited taxation with apportionment and a budget had to be approved by the elected representative employees and the People of the many States were heard through the voices of those elected Representatives to that post of service. They aren't our leaders at all, they are supposed to listen to their constituents and follow their majority opinion. If they are not following our lead, we need to remedy the problem.


If things were right in this country, our currency would be stable regardless of what other nations currencies are worth. It would be based on a standard weight of tangible asset the worth of which is based on real industrial value and not a formula that requires a four-year Harvard Degree in Economics.


If things were right we would think $100.00 as a weekly wage was doing pretty good. Fuel prices would be less than 25 cents per gallon and a brand new American built automobile would cost less than $5,000.00 with all of the optional extras.


If things were right, education would be the total responsibility of the parents and not the state. Home schooling, charter schools, and eventually that leads to no public (tax funded) schools at all. All the libraries in the world made available on DVD and online for the world to gain knowledge. The classics as written by those who wrote them and not just the opinions of those lessons written by others.  Discussions and debates could take place at a meeting place or online since that enables communications across the continents.

If things were right, we could easily transition from petrochemical fueled vehicles to HHO fuel cell powered electric vehicles. The technology that today is real but at a reasonable cost instead of the premium price that few can afford to pay.


If things were right, regulatory obstacles would be fewer and those additional and unnecessary fees and certifications forced on manufacturers would be eliminated.That would make employment an opportunity that would always be here for younger generations to go out into the world to seek their goals and dreams.

If things were right, I would have work to do and would be self-sufficient instead of desperately trying to produce the rent for every month. I also would be typing less and talking more as the host of an online talk show. But reality is not the same as being right.

If things were right, the known, simple, inexpensive treatments to cure cancer and other illnesses that are so often fatal would be common knowledge and inexpensively available to everyone. If only things were right.


It is the right, and the patriotic duty for all sovereign American individuals to voice their grievances for remedy to those who represent them in our federal government instead of restricted free speech rights and form letters. That remedy begins when we cast our ballots to choose just who will represent us and carry out our mandate for a responsible compliant government and not an irresponsibly reticent and complacent government.

Democrats and Republicans as political parties have taken away our ability to be fairly represented. Those candidates who do not embrace and expound the party ideology are removed from candidacy with the support of the privately-owned major media, who spoon feed spin to the public with the party line of choices while they ostracize the nominees who do not toe that party line.

I have worked for and have been involved with government at all levels and feel there is no level that is not corrupted by lobbying and campaign funding from special interests. While at the same time the media, funded by lobbies and special interests will point the fingers of spin at individuals, groups, and corporations, the problems worsen and never improve.

The presidential election in November, 2012 will be noted as an important historic turning point in the history of the United States of America. It will determine whether America will rise from the ashes like a phoenix, or become absorbed by the global elitists who have been taking over the world  through their banks and the corporations they created.

If we keep voting the same warring bigger government unlimited spending party people into office, we will lose our sovereignty and become slave labor to the statists.

Update:

Now that the election is over and Obama stole another four years from the People, will we have any opportunity to regain our prosperity and liberty? Or will we continue to plummet to third-world status?

Obama promised in 2008 that he will "fundamentally change America" and so far he has. The problem is it was not the change that most of us believed in nor wanted.

Americans Must Believe

Those people who spend their time and energy advocating a litany of proposed actions or services the U.S. Government really needs to consider right now, calls for an expansion of government. There are times when an issue or issues are presented which strikes an emotional public chord. People become emotionally engaged in the particulars and the bigger picture fades from view or is ignored. It often helps at times like these to stand back and examine the issue or problem from different points of view. 

Clever politicians are forever coming up with new schemes to engage the U.S. Government into doing one thing or another; to address some issue of concern, to solve a particular problem, or to fill someones need somewhere. In many of the newer programs that have been enacted in one way or another, there has been absolutely no consideration of the means to pay for some of these programs that have become law. It should be apparent to all U.S. Citizens it is time to propose that we step back and actually inspect and then think about a few of the these problems facing America. For the moment, shall we Put aside the endless lists of things for government to do and focus on the bigger picture.


The encyclopedic collection of broken promises, failed programs, and wasted trillions should be sufficient to invoke the public attention. The programs or services that never quite materialized, the flashy programs that fizzled, the problems government was supposed to solve but only managed into expensive perpetuity, or programs that failed so badly they forced politicians to point to shiny objects at other locations which had been uncovered, while the original problem was quickly covered over with fresh rolls of turf-grass. 

The following should be read and understood by all Americans; Democrats, Republicans, Independents, EVERYONE! The person occupying the Presidency and all 535 voting members of the Legislature, minus a handful, are now declared officially, to be ALL incompetent, negligent Politicians: 

a. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 237 years to get it right and it is broke. 

b. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 77 years to get it right and it is broke.

c. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.

d. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 48 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more.

e. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 47 years to get it right and they are broke.
 
f. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 42 years to get it right and it is broke.

g. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 35 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

h. The Department of Education was created in 1953 and became a solitary Cabinet Department in 1979. Every year billions are spent to insure Americans have developed basic skill levels in reading, writing, and reasoning. This was done to supposedly insure that as a nation, America would remain competitively dominant on a global basis. At the close of 2011 America ranked below 45th place in countries around the world. You had 59 years to get it right and as test scores continue to fall it has become a national embarrassment and failure.

i. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA a.k.a. Obamacare), which just had to be passed so the U.S. House of Representatives could be able to read all 2,700 plus pages according to Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, is now in question. It has now been revealed by Senator Jeff Sessions, budget chief of the Senate that: 

Senate Republican staffers have continued to look though the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) to see what’s in it, and their latest discovery is a massive $17 trillion funding gap. “The more we learn about the bill, the more we learn it is even more unaffordable than was suspected,” Sessions said, “The bill has to be removed from the books because we don’t have the money,” he said. The hidden shortfall between new spending and new taxes was revealed just after Supreme Court justices grilled the law’s supporters about its compliance with the Constitution’s limits on government activity. If the court dose not strike down the law, it will force taxpayers to find $17 trillion they do not have, to pay for the increased spending shortfall. You had 2 years to figure out it can not be gotten right and it is broke.

The government has FAILED in every "bloated government service" that has been shoved down our throats while spending our tax dollars, with no spending limit in place it makes no difference if any program budget or the entire U.S. budget is balanced or not. There are Services which have a real purpose and were never put into place to be a business and produce a profit (revenue stream), the U.S. Postal Service is an example.

OBAMA WANTS AMERICANS TO BELIEVE HE AND HIS PLAN CAN BE TRUSTED TO HANDLE A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM FOR THE U.S. CITIZENRY!   It Is Only Money They Could Be Spending On Food:  Even If There Is No Proof, Americans Must Believe!

Change and The Brighter Future To Come: or Barry's Best Foot Forward: or American Business As Usual

When Solyndra hit the wall of insolvency, all that could be heard were the echoes of the person occupying the Presidency: "this loan will generate hundreds of jobs insuring Solyndra a brighter future". The $535 million loan was expanded by another $75 million and Solyndra’s expenditures, just to build the plant, cost an estimated $733 million. With those words and figures in mind, more than a thousand people are jobless many are losing or have lost their homes and for them times are, indeed, really tough. More than 900 are still without steady employment.

After the bankruptcy on September 6, a House of Representatives subcommittee hearing was called to ask questions of company officials. The company's CEO, Brian Harrison, and chief financial officer, W.G. Stover, were called and both invoked their Fifth Amendment rights and in response to questions said nothing.

The interesting point of this debacle is not concerning the Solyndra employees, not concerning the increase in future jobs at Solyndra, not concerning the private investors in Solyndra, not concerning the "Made in America" products, not concerning the increase in "Jobs in America", and certainly not concerning solar panels or the "Green Industry." And unquestionably not concerning who the criminals are, how much money they got, and why they aren't all in prison.

As memos, Emails, and testimony have clearly shown without doubt, the concern of all the major players involved everywhere, as if it were just a board game to win at any cost, were solely political and had nothing to do with making our Nation strong in manufacturing or profitable for the citizens who work to make a life for themselves and their families. The sleazy dealings of the White House, political appointees at the DOE, and campaign contributors being repaid for helping the person occupying the Presidency. With the political favors repaid, taxpayers left to pay the costs, move on, nothing to see here, more change is necessary. 

You don't need sunglasses to see all that remains are just another business failure and lives that lay in ruins.

Process of Elimination: Newt Gingrich

It should not be a surprise to anyone that Mitt Romney is no longer the top pick of the GOP. His third-place finish behind John McCain in 2008 indicates that he wasn't the  party favorite then either. So now they, along with the privately-owned major media are pushing former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich as the one to beat Obama in 2012. But I question his integrity and so should you.

Infidelity with his first wife, asking her for a divorce while she was recuperating from surgery, and he was living with his third wife (Callista Bisek) in his apartment in DC at the time, and not paying bills for his wife and children. Can he be trusted to be faithful to We the People? I don't think so.

Gingrich also has to answer for his book deals with Rupert Murdoch's Harper Collins publishing company. Was it a $2.5 million or $4.5 million deal? Seems that Murdoch offered multi-million dollar book deals to other politicians in China and Great Britain, where he needed legislative support. Newt Gingrich is among that group that includes former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher. Seems that NBC complained about FOX TV being owned by a foreign national which is against US law. Newt also was criticized by his GOP peers and he dropped the lucrative $4.5 million advance in favor of a still quite generous royalty arrangement.

Gingrich claims to be a "hawk" regarding the US military, but he did not serve in the armed forces, instead obtained deferments to avoid the draft and service during the Vietnam War era. Remember that his current rival Ron Paul served as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force, and Paul is opposed to much of the militarism that Gingrich supports.

And let us not forget those ads with Nancy Pelosi about global warming. As President, will he reduce taxes on profits only to add taxes to carbon emissions? I am not willing to elect him to find out.  Having a bit of "handicapping" experience, it serves the best interests of all concerned to pass on Gingrich, and look at why Ron Paul will make the best President for all Americans.

Bye, Bye, Barney!

According to the New York Times, Barney Frank will retire after 2012, mainly (he says) due to the redistricting in his congressional district. I for one will not miss him at all, in fact I am disappointed that no one had the courage to indict him on fraud charges for his role in the mortgage debacle.


There is only one thing that I personally can say positive about the man: He co-sponsored a bill to repeal the federal prohibition on cannabis along with fellow Congressman Dr. Ron Paul, the best Presidential candidate. In a field of mediocre GOP hopefuls, Ron Paul stands far above the rest.


Frank also co-authored the Dodd-Frank Act, which many GOP presidential candidates vow to repeal. Seems odd that Frank received over $350,000 of his 2010 campaign funding from the very same Wall St. brokers he is so eager to criticize. Of course now that we know how the Federal Reserve loaned our money to those banks and financial institutions that were "too big t o fail" and people still lost their homes, Mr. Frank is walking away to begin a new career on the lecture circuit. Dodd cut and ran last year.


“To my disappointment, the leverage you have within the government has substantially diminished,” he said. “The anger in the country, the currents of opinion are such that the kind of inside work I have felt best at is not going to be as productive for the foreseeable future, and not until we make some changes. And so I firmly believe that my ability to be an advocate on the kinds of issues I most care about will be as great outside as inside.”


Well, hell Mr. Frank, We the People are not going to take government abuses anymore! We want to clean house and restore the Constitution as the guide by which others will follow. We are tired of "leaders" who are elected to office to "follow" our direction, not those of the special interest lobbyists, like those that fund Barney Frank's campaign. Even Obama will reap campaign rewards from Wall St. No matter, We the People will make sure he is a one term President and he can join Barney on the talk show and lecture circuits. How about the Barney and Barry Hour? With or without a teleprompter?


Maybe he can get Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters to follow him out of Washington? Well, one can hope for change!

Democracy or Republic? Your Choice!

Parallels are being drawn in the media between the Tea Party Movement and the Occupy Wall Street mobs. So I thought I would do some research myself and see where these parallels are. What I find is quite contrary to what is portrayed by the privately-owned major media.

Where does the First Amendment end and public nuisance and disorderly conduct laws begin?  I cannot see where freedom to speak out has any bearing on defecating in public. Regardless of your opinions of the law enforcement department, those vehicles are paid for with tax dollars and not private investors funds.

Some of the banners are downright humorous. So long as the owner is cleaning up after his protesting canine, I see no problem here. But there are things that really are immoral and treasonous being done and I don't see the President or any Democrats speaking out. Most of them are praising these protests as the demonstration of democracy, the "American People" protesting against the "fat cats."

So tell me then how defacing the flag of America is a patriotic thing? Explain to me how this act demonstrates anything American? Because from where I sit this looks anti-American and that is without judgement about the person standing on our symbol of liberty. I would like one of those analysts or commentators to explain this action as anything else than what it truly is.


But they insist that these OWS protesters somehow have something in common with the Tea Party Movement protesters. Perhaps I am not aware of something that these analysts know?

So I went looking for Tea Party protests and found some interesting photos. In the very first photo I came upon, I saw a woman with an umbrella that had a sign on her abdomen.  She was protesting high taxes in Washington, D.C. not on Wall Street. The next photo I saw involved the U.S. flag. It demonstrates a contrast from the OWS protester that was standing on a flag.

These Tea Party protesters were carrying signs that protested the President and Congress. This one was calling for liberty and Constitutional law.  Again, it is a contrast to OWS not a parallel at all.  

Americans will have a choice with elections this month and again in 2012 when they must choose a President. These elections more than any others in this nation's history will be more important to the lives of every single individual that calls himself/herself "American." These election will determine whether we will restore the republic to a free and sovereign one, or will be surrender to the takeover and enslavement that economic collapse will produce

If the media is pushing a candidate I won't support that candidate. If the media is ignoring a candidate I will research that candidate and see if he or she is worth supporting based on their ideology but also on their record.  This is true for all levels of government, not just the federal government.

Like the Templar Knight said in the film, Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade, "Choose wisely!"

So what would really happen if Ron Paul were as elected President?

President Paul would immediately push for $1 trillion cut in federal spending (per year, not the $3 trillion that Democrats proposed over 10 years with half of that from increased taxes).

President Paul would have the authority as commander-and-chief to withdraw troops from overseas, within limits of treaty commitments which must be honored (US supplies defense for Saudi Arabia, many other nations). To the extent possible, the US would cease being the world's policeman and plunderer of foreign economies (Iraq, Libya). The US would cease being a war economy. President Paul would also push to eradicate foreign aid which essentially is bribery, often to foreign despots who the US quietly supports because they hold a strong hand over their masses.

President Paul would have some empty chairs in his Cabinet – the Department of Commerce, Department of Education and other Cabinet positions would be eliminated. Civil service employees would be ushered into other government jobs.

President Paul would likely demand, using his bully-pulpit, a regular audit of the Federal Reserve (recall the FED pushed $13 trillion of short-term loans out the door in the world financial crisis without any oversight, which resulted in worldwide inflation and the unrest we now see in foreign countries – Egypt,Libya, etc – as a result of rising food prices.).

You probably don't know that the Federal Reserve bank takes a 6% cut off the top of all interest it collects as middleman between the US Treasury Dept and local banks. (President John F Kennedy realized this, recognized it would result in huge federal debts in the future, which have now materialized, and cut the Federal Reserve entirely out of the equation in 1963 by directly issuing US Notes, not Federal Reserve currency, into the economy. Of course, shots fired in Dallas ceased that practice and all those US Notes were quietly withdrawn from circulation.) That cut for the central bankers would be eliminated in a Ron Paul Presidency.

President Paul would likely demand and personally oversee an audit of the gold at Ft. Knox. Wouldn't you like to be there for that (live cameras please)? If the gold isn't there, who absconded with it and where is it now? (Might not have to look far, it could be stashed in Federal Reserve bank vaults – recall, the Federal Reserve is not federal, it is a bunch of private banks who may have absconded with the nation's gold supply).

With a public groundswell of support, President Paul would oversee the abolishment of the Internal Revenue Service, freeing Americans of the onerous and treacherous task of figuring out the taxes they owe (recall the Secretary of the Treasury couldn't accurately figure out his own taxes). No more debtors prison for not filing tax forms properly (yep, some Americans are in prison for this). That would free-up about 6 billion man-hours and $250-300 billion of money now committed to tax preparation. Real money, not the fractionated loan money, would be returned to the economy.

There would be a re-adjustment period as the nation figures out how to rebuild employment without phony government jobs programs, but anticipate an eventual US renaissance. The US would be spared the fate of Greece which has 40% employment in the government sector, placing those jobs on the back of the remaining tax payers there.

Without an income tax the Federal Reserve would have no conduit to siphon money back out of the economy to limit inflation and it would have to cease its inflationary money printing practices. Mothers of young American children would be told that their struggles to see their kids get ahead in this country will not be futile as the Federal Reserve's planned inflation policy would be put to a halt. If your kids can't earn a better income than the rate of inflation (now 7-11%, government says it is only ~3%) they will surely be impoverished.

For example, if an American child was born in 1990 and her/her mother as sole bread winner was making $35,000 a year on the date of that child's birth, that child would have to earn $60,758 today (2011) to equal his/her mother's salary in 1990. Soccer moms should shout loudly for a Ron Paul Presidency. Your children have no future if one of the other pretenders is elected. Without currency reform, all other reforms become meaningless. The elites will continue to plunder and undermine the wealth that you create.

President Ron Paul would push for the federal government to get out of the real estate lending business. By Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac ensuring home loans, lenders generated loans based upon low teaser interest rates (subprime, ALT-A) and unverified incomes and then funneled these bad loans on up to these quasi-government agencies where the public took the losses (these losses are now on the accounting books of the Federal Reserve). In a Ron Paul Presidency, bad lenders would go out of business, not be given bailouts.

The Federal Reserve now holds over $1 trillion in bad loans on it accounting books – let the Federal Reserve get what it deserves – a giant loss as its banks go out of business due to insolvency, just punishment for allowing low interest rates to prevail and create a real estate bubble in the first place. Stop protecting bankers, start protecting your own wealth – vote for Ron Paul!

Without a government backstop to insure home loans, lenders would be more diligent in checking out lender qualifications and incomes. Thefalse demand for housing that the Federal government created would cease and home values would crash, for a short time. But that would be good news – now homes would become affordable.

It is said, if the Federal Government would get out of housing homes prices would tumble by 50%. While that is not good news for the asset-side of lenders accounting books, it is the only way to bring back the housing market in a short time. This is the mark-to-market value accounting that must be practiced. Interest rates on home mortgages would rise, but so would the interest on saved money – Americans would cease losing money on savings accounts (interest on saved money today is less than 1% while inflation is ~7-11%).

While the US economy is said to be the strongest in the world (~$14 trillion), the US is hiding the fact its Gross Domestic Product is actually in decline and that probably half of the GDP is comprised of financial gains from moving money around. An example is the stock market with 70% of its trades now comprised of high-speed millisecond trading. Financial gains are contrived and there is no real value created out of these phony transactions, nor is any employment created. The lending classes will have to face reality. Phony numbers would not likely be a part of a Ron Paul Presidency.

With a groundswell of public support, President Ron Paul would push for a currency that has limited stretchability by backing it with gold. No more rubber money. The fortunes of Americans would cease being eroded by money printing practices at the Federal Reserve. If you missed Ron Paul's object lesson - he recently held up a pre-1964 silver dime (dimes today have no silver in them) and said it is worth ~$3.00 today, about the price of a gallon of gasoline. That means a gold-backed dollar could buy you a full tank of gas. Imagine that?

But inflationary policies have robbed American bank accounts of wealth. The thief of inflation that is robbing your money out the back door of your local bank would be handcuffed. Ron Paul would also push for competing currencies (if this sounds foreign to you, we already have one – its called a VISA card, and don't forget American Express Checks). Creators of currencies who have the most backing in the form of reserves would have the most desired currencies, those who don't would have currencies of lesser value.

So what would happen worldwide with the announcement of a Ron Paul Presidency? Did you see what happened yesterday when the European Union band-aided its currency and debt problems for the time being. Markets soared with even a hint of sound money. Likewise, a Ron Paul Presidency should cause markets to soar just on the announcement of his Presidency. The International Monetary Fund has been begging the US to cut federal spending or devalue its currency by 30%.

The tax and print-money Keynsians would be ousted from power. Phony money would be a thing of the past. Real jobs, not government-contrived jobs that add a 15% administration burden and place the salaries of government workers on the remaining private sector, would be created. Two bad examples are Solyndra and General Motors, both whom received a government-back loan and then sought government contracts to sell solar panels to the US Navy and Chevy Volt electric cars to the federal government's fleet of automobiles. That is nothing but false demand.

Imagine Ron Paul appoints a new chief at the Food and Drug Administration who turns that institution upside down, who complies with the law (Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act) rather than repudiates or ignores it as the current FDA does, and works to allow health claims for natural medicines that work far more safely and effectively than synthetically made drugs, and at much lower cost. Imagine the National Institutes of Health is forced to generate studies to reveal the true effectiveness of vitamins C and D, as previously documented by this author in the archives at LewRockwell.com, and the life expectancy of Americans soars and their quality of life in their retirement years greatly improves. Dr. Ron Paul is committed to this kind of real change, not give lip service to it.

Imagine for a moment that President Ron Paul, advocate of free markets, calls for a true revamp of the nation's electrical grid unlike the current administration which only gives rhetoric to the idea. With installation of new US-manufactured power cable technology that is able to transmit twice as much power on a single power line with 9-20% greater efficiency (less line loss), averting the need for 98 new fossil-fueled or atomic power plants by stringing just 3000 miles of the nation's power lines with this US-made technology, and bringing $60 billion greater bottom-line profits to power generating companies, your electricity bill would be measurably trimmed instead of continually rising.

Ron Paul – your President. Your vote for RP will cause all of the above and more to happen. This article is just a sampling of what could happen almost overnight. One man, one moment in time, and everything changes on day-one of a RP Presidency. It would the best $39,000 your government could invest (Ron Paul has publicly stated he would take a $39,000/year salary while in office compared to the $400,000/year salary of the incumbent, to set an example).

Don't be dissuaded by bogus claims "Ron Paul is unelectable" or by the menu of wanna-be candidates served up by the news media. The 4th-Estate, the nation's major news sources are not unbiased parties. The news media is in dire financial straits themselves and wants those campaign advertising dollars, particularly the $750 million the incumbent President is likely to raise like he did last election. Ron Paul is electable – by you. Make the election of RP so magnanimous that even vote fraud can't hide it.

Let's recap – no income tax, the Federal government generates revenues by other means; no IRS forms to deal with; no need to send your kids off to phony wars in foreign theatres; no more cut off the top by the Federal Reserve; assurance there really is gold in Ft. Knox; gold-backed money like this nation once had before the banksters cut their own deal at Jekyll Island, South Carolina decades ago and Nixon took America off the gold standard; rising individual purchasing power as inflation is nixed (no need to ask the boss for a raise, your money will buy more), financial gains on your banked money instead of erosion of your wealth via inflation; your chance to own a home will greatly improve rather than the current situation where home ownership is now only a fading American pipe dream; and true reform of healthcare rather than manipulation by those with vested interests.

These are what a Ron Paul Presidency portends. This is Doctor Ron Paul's prescription for the re-installation of sanity in American politics. Entrenched forces and crony capitalism are destroying America. You can fight back. Let the public's voice be heard loud at the ballot box. Vote for Ron Paul so the 99% can have a real opportunity to become the 1%.

If Things Were Right

In the vision of our founders as is demonstrated by the careful word crafting in the documents that we now call Founding Documents, the explicit limits to federal government are plain. In all of them the rights to all were equal, not that all are equal. One who works for wages or starts their own business or trade is not equal to someone who feels those businesses and trades and workers all must pay support for them because they are entitled. Charity is voluntary not mandatory.

Freedom is something you must both earn and and pay for if you are to keep it. The rights of others cannot be infringed upon by you as you would have your rights not be infringe upon by others, without your wanting and willingness to take action to defend those rights. What right did you give to the federal government to use your tax dollars to give to foreign nations? And at what point did you feel obligated to fund "entitlement" programs for people that are not citizens or plain and simply lazy Americans who use excuses instead of brains or physical dexterity to at least earn their own keep?

Somewhere in our not so distant past we began to lose our rights. Property rights, individual rights, privacy rights, and most Constitutional rights were all systematically taken away and there wasn't hardly a heated public debate to defend those rights. The right to determine where our tax dollars are spent was something that was much simpler to understand when the Constitution limited taxation with apportionment and a budget had to be approved by the Representatives and the People of the many States were heard through the voices of those elected to that post of service. They aren't our leaders at all, they are our followers. If they are not following our lead then we need to remedy the problem.

If things were right in this country, our currency would be stable regardless of what other nations currencies are worth. It would based on a standard weight of tangible asset whose worth is based on real industrial value and not a formula that requires a four-year degree in Economics.

If things were right we would think $100.00 as a weekly wage was doing pretty good. Fuel prices would be less than 25 cents per gallon and a brand new American built automobile would cost less than $5,000.00 with all of the optional extras.

If things were right, schooling would be the total responsibility of the parents and not the state. Home schooling, charter schools, and eventually no schools at all. All the-libraries in the world made available on DVD and online for the world to gain knowledge. The classics as told be those who wrote them and not just the opinions of those teachings written by others. Discussions and debates can take place at meeting places or online since that enables communications across the continents.

If things were right we can easily transition from fueled vehicles into electric powered vehicles with technology that even today is making that possible but at a premium price that few can afford to pay.  Sound and stable currency, lower taxes and easing of regulatory obstacles that add unnecessary fees and certifications to manufacturers would make employment opportunity always there for a younger generation to go out into the world to seek their dreams and their goals.

If things were right I would have work to do and would be self-sufficient instead of desperately trying to produce the rent for this month. I also would be typing less and talking more as the host of an online talk show. But reality is not the same as being right.


If things were rights there would be simple treatments to cure cancer and other illnesses that are so often fatal. If only things were right.

It is the right and the patriotic duty for all American sovereign individuals to voice their grievances to those who represent them in government for remedy. And that remedy begins when we cast our ballots to choose just who will represent us and carry forth our wishes to a compliant and not a complacent federal government.

Democrats and Republicans as political parties have taken away out ability to be fairly represented. Those who do not embrace  and expound the party ideology are removed from candidacy with support by the privately-owned major media, who spoon feed the public with the party choices while they ostracize the nominees who do not toe that party line.

I have worked for and have been involved with government at all levels and feel there is no level that is not corrupted by lobbying and funding from special interests. While the media will point fingers at individuals, groups and corporations, the problem gets worse and never better.

The next presidential election in 2012 will be noted as the most important one in the history of the United States of America. It will determine whether America will rise from the ashes like a phoenix, or crash and burn and become absorbed by the global elitist who have been taking over the world through their banks and the corporations they created.

If we keep voting the same party people into office, we will lose our sovereignty and become slave labor to the statists.
