There are fundamental flaws in how American government operates today,
contrary to the Constitution and the vision of a representative republican form of governance.
I intend doing something about it: by educating and informing others who
are not even aware of the dangers.

America As It Should Be

The Esteemed Readers of this blog know that many of these individual issues have been addressed before in the many posts we have published since 2008. The following article by an ex-CIA spy and former US Marine, calls on Congress to take immediate actions.

Fix America calls on its Esteemed Readers to call and write their delegates in Congress and in their respective State assemblies to take action to bring the federal government back into compliance with its original and enumerated duties and responsibilities to the States and the People respectively.

Robert David Steele is no stranger to telling things how they simply are. And just this past week, he has once again made several paradigm-shifting statements that is bound to get the attention of many throughout the world. In addition to calling for the end of the IRS, the Federal Reserve, the Department of Homeland Security and major reform and criminal investigations into the FDA and Center for Disease Control, he has called for Senator Rand Paul and Speaker Paul Ryan to introduce the Electoral Reform Act of 2016.

This act, if done in September of 2016, would demand that paper ballots would be used in all federal elections. Obviously then, this would be a curveball to the plans of the global elite who are backing Hillary Clinton and who many believe rigged the primaries and would like to rig the Presidential vote in November. Essentially, this would be a positive step forward for the world in that much truth would continue to leak out into public awareness.

Robert Steele, who is a former US Marine and CIA spy, trained officers in over 66 countries in open-source methods. Open source technology and information is a way to ensure transparency and truth on all levels and on any issue throughout our world. In his recent article Libertarians Now or Never, Robert Steele talked about these issues listed above, including the abolishing of the IRS, Federal Reserve and the enacting of the Electoral Reform Act of 2016:

Put most simply, a Libertarian believes that individuals, families, and communities should decide most if not all of the issues that arise from day to day and over time, not the federal government.

Libertarians have not reached the point I have, after a study of the Constitution and our history, which is this: we are the United STATES of America, therefore the federal government should be an administrative service to the STATES united, not an imperial power. If I were elected president, I would appoint a Governor-General and begin the process of terminating the illegal mandate that allows the federal government to tax individuals and organizations and to borrow money.

States should collect such revenue as they see fit from their citizens — I recommend a single Automated Payment Transaction (APT) Tax administered and collected by the states — and states should fund the federal government by agreed upon appropriations from each state.

In passing, I would cancel all Executive Orders and refer them to the Speaker of the House for legislative consideration. All federal regulations — including the newest forbidding the public from swimming with dolphins (I don’t make this crap up) — would be suspended.

The Center for Disease Control and the Federal Drug Administration would be suspended and investigated toward probable criminal indictments against all their “leaders” while the Department of Homeland Security, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Federal Reserve would be closed, plain and simple, with “soft landing” transition plans for all their employees. The Departments of Education and Energy, among others, would be subject to a zero-based review and at least cut in half if not eliminated entirely, subject always to Article 1 of the Constitution — it’s time we totally recast the government, to include harmonization of Congressional committee jurisdictions with the organization of the executive branch and vice versa.

Note 1: 10th Amendment plays here. The STATES are not exercising their power under the Constitution.Nullification and if necessary secession are vital parts of the Constitutional relationship between the STATES and the federal service that has become an imperial power owned by banks.

Note 2: As I said in my appearance in the Hollywood documentary, American Drug War: Last White Hope, marijuana is the seam between a public that thinks for itself and a government that lies for the banks and corporations that thrive on fencing the commons and making private behavior illegal so they can profit — make no mistake, the drug industry is about liquidity for the banks that launder the money, the criminal gangs are merely de facto agents of the banks. Cannabis in all its forms including oil cuts tumors in half or more and addresses cancer in a manner the government and the corporations actively cover up. The criminal insanity of a government that cares more about profits for the few at the expense of the many must be ended. The immediate legalization of marijuana (and hemp, which has many substantial industrial uses) is non-negotiable.
Robert sees this being the perfect time for such a conversation because it would then be no longer possible for the masses to ignore the rigged 2-party system that disenfranchises 70% of all eligible voters. It would force several truths to emerge that would be beneficial to all."

What I Learned Today: Or Elected Servants Think They Are Masters

UPDATE!

See below!
I was unable to sleep after attending a meeting of the Corvallis City Council. Something was bothering me and I could not fall asleep. And then it hit me!

I listened to a small group of people who had very little or no direct contact with arms tell the Mayor and City Council why they needed to pass an unconstitutional ordinance to prohibit the open carrying of loaded arms within the city limits. All kinds of figures and percentages about gun violence were offered as testimony, while opposition spoke of rights and Constitution, and lawsuits if this ordinance passes a council vote.

So I finally decided that I would take my allocated three minutes to speak. I am sure that I didn't make many friends on the Corvallis City Council. I told them that what they were proposing was a violation of my rights and that I would not obey such a law, in fact, there would be people from all over Oregon who will come and open carry in defiance of this ordinance. I said that the Constitution is not the source of my rights rather it is the duties and responsibilities and limitations placed on the federal government as well as that of the States. It explicitly states that, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." The Bill of Rights limits all levels of government not just the federal government. The People's rights are paramount.

But it wasn't until the early hours of the morning that it finally became clear. Here were a group of people who were elected by a majority of the people of Corvallis to serve their best interests, who were willing to break the law (Constitution) to pass a law (ordinance) to please a small group of "concerned" citizens who claim that seeing people carry loaded weapons made them afraid and added undo stress in their lives.

Imagine that! City Council thought that fear and stress were adequate justification to infringe on the rights of the majority to appease a special interest minority. I reminded them about a little skirmish that occurred with the British Crown when they came to confiscate weapons from the colonists.

Today is Election Day and I urge the Esteemed Readers to go out and vote. Go out and vote for the people who will protect your rights and not cater to special interests by taking from you what is rightfully yours.

If We the People stand up and rescind out consent of the form of governance that has evolved from that which was created, we can restore the system to what it was once meant to be.

UPDATE:

The Corvallis City Council has decided to drop the open carry ban ordinance. It seems that the State is taking up some new gun control legislation and focus on that is required at this time.

Actually it is time that we put these public servants into their proper place. The rights of the People MUST be protected by the servants in government, not usurped because of social pressures. Freedom loving Americans must unite in common defense of our rights and freedoms.

The Blame Game: The Continuing Saga of Ineptitude

Let me make this as clear as possible. In the article posted by the Official Tea Party USA, the blame is given to the man occupying the White House and his party of Democratic Socialists. I agree to a point, but not entirely.

All appropriations emanates from the House of Representatives. The Constitution gave the House control of the purse of the taxpayer. The President and the Senate cannot force the House of Representatives to fund anything! The President and his Administration cannot pick and choose what parts of the government shuts down and which remain open, since funding comes from the House, it is only the House that can lawfully make those decisions on behalf of the People they represent.

John Boehner is lying to us all. The power of the purse is in his hands and not the Senate. It is up to him and the House to appropriate the funds necessary to maintain national security and emergency services during this debate over a continuing funding resolution which itself is the result of years of congressional failure to pass a budget.

The Democrats and their Indicted and Convicted Fugitive Criminal, illegal immigrant leader would have you believe that the Tea Party is to blame for the shutdown, but the reality is that the Tea Party and the congressional representatives they endorsed to represent the will of the People, are right in standing up to this blatant disregard for the rule of law. The person occupying the White House wants us to believe that the PPACA is the law of the land, but he and his Regime only follow the law when it is politically expedient.

The proper method(s) employed to remove unjust laws are spelled out in the Tenth Article of Amendment. It is the States who can use their power to nullify unjust federal laws. It has been used successfully in the past and since it is a constitutional method, cannot be prohibited by other unconstitutional laws.

All of this dancing around is a distraction from all of the other issues that really do matter. Benghazi, IRS targeting of groups who oppose Obama, NSA spying on the American People, Fast and Furious gunwalking to drug cartel criminals, arming terrorists in Libya, Egypt, and now Syria, telling Americans they cannot visit the White House because of funding issues while billions are sent to foreign nations, many which are enemies.

This is not a Democrat vs. Republican fight. This is a fight for our freedom and rights which are being eroded and lost to a government regardless of which political party is in power.

A Lesson in Constitution

The Constitution for the United States of America is a contract of consent by We the People to form and administer a representative republican system of federal governance among the many sovereign States in union. It is by our consent and within the limitations of the Constitution that we allow ourselves to be governed.

Included in that consent decree are Amendments that describe some of the rights of the People and the rights of the States. The Second Amendment clearly  states that the "right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." How can it be more plain than that? Laws that infringe on the rights of the citizens to keep and bear arms are by definition unlawful. Now some will say that it is up to the States then to make laws regarding gun control. Not so fast!

The Tenth Amendment to the Constitution also makes it clear that those powers not granted to the federal government and not prohibited by the Constitution are reserved to the States and to the People. Because the Second Amendment clearly prohibits restrictions on weapons (arms) that means that even the States cannot enact laws that infringe on the People's rights.

I have heard mention on this ongoing debate about gun laws, "Well that doesn't mean that anybody can buy an cruise missile or a tank. Actually, it does mean that! Yes, if you can afford to purchase and maintain it, you have a right to own and keep it.

All of this gun talk in the wake of these tragic shootings at cinemas and schools is knee-jerk reactions to a problem that has nothing to do with guns at all. But that is a topic outside of the Constitution and the limits it places on government involvement into the private lives of citizens.

Principles, Not Ideology

What have we become as a nation? Our country was founded upon principles. Even though there were no prohibitions to slavery, drugs, guns, or rock and roll, there were always principles that led most people to do the right thing.

Slavery was not practiced by all, and it was the founding principles that did not interfere with the choice that people made regarding it. Just as we can choose not to patronize corporate brands who employ low wage workers in foreign lands, the free market system will always prevail to bring the best ethics from the providers of goods and services so long as the consumer is ethical also.

We are losing our liberty as we decline in wealth. We are declining as a nation as we lose our ethics and morals. And yet those who we elect to represent us have sold themselves to unethical special interests and corporations that place profits above the ethics and the law. Our representatives have legislated in favor of these corrupt corporations, elevating their rights above that of the individual.

The President and the liberal left do not possess a monopoly on legislation that is contrary to the principles of constitutional government. Many on  the right have supported legislation that is anything but constitutional. The Patriot Act and NDAA are two such examples. The rights of the individual are now secondary to the perceived belief that we are safer with  these laws.

The safest people are those who have the means to protect themselves, for they are the ones that the criminals fear and will avoid confronting. Car-jackers will think twice when enough media reports display would-be-victims taking responsibility for their own safety and use personal arms to protect themselves from these predators.

Lately I have heard arguments against gun bans from the so-called conservative party, that claims that federal weapons bans on such things as nuclear weapons and armored tanks are the only types of restrictions that can be permissible. I disagree.

If you have the wealth to purchase an Abrams Tank or a cruise missile, you have  the right to do so. The 2nd Amendment does not give you the right to bear and keep arms, that is written for the purpose of explicitly putting the federal government on notice that they cannot infringe on the right of the People to protect themselves. Just because the government is given the responsibility to protect all the States and all the People from enemies crossing our border and coming in from the seas, does not exclude the People or the States from protecting themselves. The first part of that Second Article of Amendment makes it clear that the States have explicit right to form their own militias, made up of the well armed and trained residents of the State.

All those laws that have been written since the Constitution was ratified, that clearly violate the limitations of the federal government and or restrict or prohibit the People from exercising their own rights, are not valid as law. We do not need the Supreme Court to offer an interpretation of the Constitution in order for the Constitution to be upheld.

It is with certainty that the complexity of law which is U.S. Code and Uniform Commerce Code, far exceed the constitutional limits on the federal government. Simply put, it is not for the majority of Americans to learn those complex laws, rather learn the Constitution and stick to it. Allow no exceptions in law that bends or breaks the purpose of the Constitution regardless of how socially expedient and necessary it may seem.

More laws do nothing to end the problem. Perhaps the punishment for breaking the law needs to be addressed. Starting with the 535 criminals who hold the entire country in slavery from their mahogany-paneled offices built with the taxes they stole from the States and the People.

Do The Right Thing!

It is time to show what you are made of. All Americans share a common interest in liberty and limited government. Those who oppose this are not truly Americans as it is defined by the Constitution.

Simply put, a patriot loves the nation but is always wary of the government. If it is not explicity stated in the Constitution, then the federal government does not have the authorty to do it. Regarless of how the Supremem Court ruled. Obamacare is NOT a tax, it is a blatant infringement on all of our liberties.

The Tenth Article of Amendment clearly states, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Stop complaining and do something!

There is only one candidate for President who has demonstrated true statemanship and who follows the Constitution. Ron Paul is that candidate.

The propaganda will say that he can't win. He has been a Congressman for the People of Texas for 30 years. That seems obvious to me that he is not only electable, but he is respected by his constituents.

Mitt Romney is a fourth-rate candidate. He finished third in the nominating in 2008 and the GOP lost the election to Obama. Only Ron Paul can beat Obama in 2012, regardless what the spin doctors say.

Insist on paper ballots! That is the only way to insure a proper audit trail of your vote. The machines are rigged and the vote will be stolen from you if you allow it.
